From the owner

Frangipani House is set in an acre of land offering magnificent views across the paddy fields and tropical forests.

The house offers peace and tranquility . Relaxing beds and hammocks are provided on the terrace where you can observe the wildlife, many monkeys and SrI Lanka's exotic birds.

Chants from the nearby Yatagala Budhist Temple can often be heard in the distance. The temple is within walking distance from the house.

The villa consists of 2 double bedrooms with en suites and 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds also with en suite. 2nd bathroom has an electric shower as well as a cold water shower. All bedrooms have mosquito nets and thick, comfortable mattresses. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms.

Kitchen is well equipped with gas cooker and electric oven, microwave oven and washing machine. Kitchen also has a fridge/freezer with ice making compartment. Rice cooker, kettle, toaster, smoothie maker, cafeteria and iron are available.

UK electric sockets and continental sockets are in the house. A small hair dryer is available .

Living room has a comfortable seating area with thick cushions, satellite TV, DVD player and WI Fi available. Ceiling fan in place.

Dining area is situated outside on the terrace and seats 6 people. Ceiling fans on terrace.

All bed linen and towels are provided. The house is cleaned each day.

The high beamed ceilings allow gentle breezes to flow through the house providing shelter from the midday heat.

A chef is available if required.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Julie (the owner) a message.

If Julie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
