Torrevieja Town / Playa los Locos area
Torrevieja is situated on the eastern coast of spain on the med,south of alicante in the community of valencia.It is surrounded by two large salt lakes which promote it as having the healthiest climate in the area. There are many beautiful beaches,squares,walks,parks,gardens and other natural beauty spots to be seen in torrevieja. There are many family attractions in torrevieja and the surrounding area.The newly opened theme park of terra mitica is only an hours drive away.there are regular coach trips made daily.Take the children to Aqualandia and dive through the waterfalls,a great place to keep the kids entertained! Shopping in Torrevieja is not to be missed!The coastal town streets are lined with shops selling everything from perfume to suncream ang handbags to lace.For fun shoppping, visit a lively market every friday-stalls are filled with hand crafted ceramics, colourful rugs,fresh friut and veg and fresh fish. For designer shopping and chain stores visit Habeneras shopping centre. Playa de Los Locos is a long stretch of beautiful sandy beach which slopes into the glorious crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean sea.Los Locos beach has been awarded the European Blue Flag of cleaniness.This beach,with a children's play area,is directly in front of the apartment building. Torrevieja town is just a ten minute walk from the apartment. There are beach bars and restaurants along the beach front and a fishmonger,butchers,bakery and small supermarket just around the corner,providing beautiful fresh meat,fish and freshly baked bread. There is a local internet cafe to help you keep in touch with family and friends at home.There is a bus stop to the right of the front of the apartment building and local bus service run every fifteen minutes.

The costa blanca region is well served by all the major airlines flying into murcia and alicante airports. check out ryanair,easyjet,jet 2,monarch,ba,globespan.bmi,flybe and aer lingus for flights to both airports.
From there we can arrange airport pickup for 40 euro each way.
