About the home

Right in the center of mediaval village Alanno, small alleys all around. You can relax in the garden under the fig trees, (fruit in July and September mostly) Close to the huge Gran Sasso National parc. Approx 40 min by car to get to the Adriatic.
In the village you find two foodshops, a pharmacy, two cafés.

This is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, or someone who wants to experience the real Italy.
The small family that wants something else than an mall... Shop at the bakery, the grocers, the butchers, the fruitshop!

Further details outdoors:
The garden has table and four armchairs, two chairs. A gas barbecue. There is a new built pergola in iron which may look a bit odd, but as soon as the planted wine will cover it up with green leaves, it will be beautiful! Maybe already next year there may be grapes!
The fig tree gives a lot of fruit, first in July, then second harvest in September. They of course also fall down, which can be disturbing. But they are delicuios!

Further details

Laundry and cleaning after you leave, keys and so on is run by an English couple who lives nearby.
You are expected to leave 30 Euro on the kitchen table upon leaving - since this is not included in the rent.

Over the bed there is a loft space with 120 cm good matress. A ladder takes you there.

Closest airport is Pescara, direct flights London and Frankfurt with Ryanair. From Pescara appr 30 miles motorway towards Rome, exit Alanno-Scafa follow signs to Alanno.
Also airport in Ancona, 1 and a half hour north along the cost.
