From the owner

The original stone dwelling was a farm in the 1900s.
In 1999 it was rebuilt around the two remaining original stone walls. The final result is a charming stone cottage with a private garden.
The house is fully equipped and very comfortable. It is a short walk from the lake which is wonderful to swim in in the Summer and Autumn. This is a great place for serious R&R. You can catch up on your reading in the garden or get on one of the bikes and explore the countryside.
There is a BBQ and a terraced area where you can dine al fresco.
The house is ideal for couples and for families as the area offers something for everyone, from the countryside to interesting towns such as Tomar, Abrantes, Fatima and the walled town of Obidos.

The garden leads you to a paved area up a couple of steps. The stone floor is in keeping with the rest of the house.
This is an ideal area for outdoor dining (tables and chairs in the garage), chilling out (deckchair in the garage) or catching up on your holiday reading.

Why can't I call Wilf (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Wilf (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Wilf (the owner) a message.

If Wilf (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
