Established in 1987 by Sofronis Potamitis, in an effort to revive rural communities and preserve the traditional houses of bygone days. With loving care, several abandoned and ruined family houses were thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character.
Mespilio house is a complex of individual apartments with fully equipped kitchette with central heating/air condition and access to a shared pool nearby within walking distance. . Notice the thick walls, small windows, stone or wooden staircases so typical of our island’s architecture of yesteryear. On your veranda, in your patio or garden you can relax with a drink or a book any time of the day. In Tochni our guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the authentic traditional cuisine of our Tochni Taverna.

The Larnaca District
Tochni village is only a 20 minute drive to Larnaca and Lemesos towns, 40 minutes to the capital Lefkosia and maximum 1 hour to Paphos or the Troodos mountains. The village is centrally located which allows easy access to the whole island.

How to get there
For those arriving by rental car: As you leave the airport follow the signs to Limassol or Lemesos. Half way towards Lemesos the high way B1 will turn into highway A1. Drive on the high way A1. Turn out on exit 14, sign posted “Chirokitia-Tochni-Psematismenos-Maroni-1000m”. As you leave the highway turn right at the junction, follow the road under the bridge until the next junction at which you turn right again. After passing the petrol station there is an archaeological site and there you must turn right direction Choirokitia-Layia and then immediately left where there is a small church and a sign to Tochni Village. Keep driving straight on until you see the sign for Tochni Tavern, turn right here and then first left and straight up to the car park of Tochni Tavern.
At the end of the car parking area near the fence there is a stair case leading to the tavern/pool area where you will see the Cyprus Villages reception sign. Walking down the stairs you will find our Tochni Tavern and CYPRUS VILLAGES reception. Here you will be met by our representative who will welcome and escort you to your.
