Villa Oasis is positioned high on the hillside on the Sorrento coast therefore commanding spectacular views of the sea, and the gulf of Naples watched over by Mount Vesuvius to one side. The nearest village of Sant'Agata with its selection of shops and restaurants is just 400m away and famous cosmopolitan Sorrento is just over 7km. Villa Oasis is the perfect choice for those seeking luxury accommodation in this much sought after area of Italy. Built on three floors the white exterior of the villa contrasts perfectly with the green lawns, blue sky and azure sea. The grounds are extensive and there are garden areas with lawns, terraces and gazebos ideal for relaxing or dining al fresco. In a lovely position is a beautiful swimming pool (12m x 8m), positioned away from the villa is a tennis court for the more energetic and part of the grounds can be reserved as a helicopter landing pad if required. The villa offers a breakfast service (on request), daily maid service (4 hours per day) and a local chef can be hired on request to prepare lovely meals which you can enjoy al fresco on one of the terraces. The three floors of the villa are all connected by a lift and the rooms are spacious and airy and very comfortably furnished and equipped with all modern comforts including air conditioning and internet connection. The ground floor consists of three spacious living rooms, all decorated in classic style and elegantly furnished. One is a lounge with settees set around an original fireplace, the second is a dining room which opens directly onto the garden, and the third is a pretty breakfast room. On the same floor are two fully equipped kitchens, one large enough to hold cooking classes or demonstrations which can be arranged locally, four washrooms with w.c. and a laundry room with washing machine. The first and second floors, all connected by the lift host ten of the villa's beautiful bedrooms. All have en suite bathrooms, eight with hydro massage bathtub and shower and the others with hydro massage shower, and access to a balcony or terrace, as well as disposing of television, mini fridge, telephone and safe deposit box. Four of the bedrooms are suites and also have a sitting area with settee which can convert to a double bed on request to accommodate extra persons. The eleventh bedroom is the most romantic. Situated on the upper attic floor it has a double bed, ensuite bathroom with hydro massage bath and shower and sitting area with sofa, table and chairs. The highlight of this room is its large private terrace, partially shaded by a gazebo and furnished with sunloungers, it enjoys most spectacular sea views. An external staircase leads from the garden to an amazing terrace at the very top of the villa which enjoys an all round unforgettable panorama. The grounds of the villa are very well maintained with luscious lawns, and Mediterranean plants and flowers. Immersed in this green oasis is a gorgeous swimming pool with jacuzzi corner, the perfect spot for soaking up the atmosphere, wonderful views and taking a refreshing dip. There is plenty more space for relaxing in the gardens , and in front of the villa there is a large terrace area shaded by a pergola and furnished with table and chairs where you can enjoy meals al fresco. There is also a barbecue and outdoor kitchen facilities for guests use. There is a tennis court at the villa, a helicopter pad (helicopter rides can be arranged locally on request) and guests at Villa Oasis have the use of beach facilities at the famed Nerano bay, a lovely shale beach just 7 km away near to the fishing village of Marina del Cantone. Excellently located, the villa is within walking distance (400m) of the town of Sant'Agata which has shops, famous restaurants and local bus stop. Parking is within the grounds of the villa. You can book excursions locally, and even hire a classic Alfa Romeo Giulietta car for a spin along the coast. This wonderful area inspired writers and composers such as Goethe and Wagner, who were awed with its beauty. The picturesque towns of Positano and Amalfi are less than half an hour's drive or can be reached by local bus and there are ferry services from both to the beautiful islands of Capri and Ischia. Further afield and well worth a visit are the archeological sites of Pompeii and Ercolano, at the feet of the volcano Vesuvius, and cosmopolitan Sorrento with its maze of streets, with shops and pavement cafes is a joy to explore.
