The beach is at your doorstep, with an international spa below and the village steps away! Separate office area with free int'l telephoning and wifi, fantastic view! 3rd floor of 4 floor bldg; 2 elevators. A paradise of a holiday - one you will cherish! Sleeps 2+.
Hike to Biarritz (3.5 hours along the beach) or to the Spanish border (2.5 hours). Swimming, spaaing, walking! A car is not required. However, if you wish parking we will provide details. There is secure parking at a cost, or free parking in off season.

Lots of cupboard space, comfortable white leather couches combined with wicker. Large porte fenetre open to a mountain view. Free long distance calling. Walk everywhere - no car necessary. Quaint village with wonderful restaurants and shopping! Vacation in Basque country! Read our glowing references! Lots of repeat visitors who love to stroll along the sandy beaches of St Jean, and have entertainment at their doorstep.

Large luxurious open studio with mountain view on the 3rd floor in a building located Right on the beach. An int'l spa is below you! Safe, comfortable - a holiday you will not forget. Elevator and all amenities. Caretaker on site! Parking is free; however, summer parking will require a reservation for secure underground on the premises (extra).
Conditions
Cleaning deposit of 100 euros is refundable depending on condition of apt when departing.
Key deposit of 50 euros is fully refundable upon return of keys.
Weekly rentals; Saturday check in 4pm. Check out Sat am 10am.
3rd party would be acceptable (extra 50 euros/week)
Monthly rental will be considered. Generally week to week; Saturday to Saturday.

The town of St Jean de Luz is magical with lots of hiking, biking, walking, swimming, running, golf, tennis. One does not need a car as the train station is a 7 minute walk to the beach, where La Pergola is located. Artists can be found in the centre square, music. Take a short ride to San Sebastian, or up to Biarritz or St Jean Pied de Port. The streets of St Jean are mostly walking streets, with lots of quaint shops.
The climate is very warm in the summer and mildish in the winter (generally no show). It is a sunny area; rarely foggy!
The Saint Jean de Luz area
Shop every morning in the local St Jean marketplace, then, plan a hike to Biarritz along an ocean trail (3 hours and a MUST), take the tram up to La Rhune, the highest mountain in the area, and shop in the local Spanish shops. Take the train to San Sebastian for a day of fantastic foods and tile shops!
Ceboure, known for its Basque Cathedrals and missions is a 20 minute walk towards the Spanish border. Another 20 minute walk is Secoa, a quaint village with history abounding (the Bastion) and its reputation for Huge Waves and walking trails. If you go in the other direction, one can walk all a hiking trail long the water to Biarritz! (3 hours).
St Jean is well located to Bordeaux, Biarritz, Spain, the Goggenheim Museum. Tennis, golf, cycling, the international Helianthal Spa is just below with massage, pools, saunas. St Jean has it All for a romantic holiday, a health retreat, a 'get away from it all' - kind of holiday! Parking is also available if required!

Fly to Biarritz - Ryan Air has specials - Stanstead to Biarritz/return. We are 15 minutes drive from Biarritz; 40 euros cab fare; La Pergola, St Jean de Luz, on the beach! Or take a train from Paris and get off at St Jean de Luz - lots of train specials - 5 hours and a 10 minute walk from the train station. International? Fly to Paris or London, then to Biarritz.

Everything is included. Refundable deposit of 100 euros for cleaning; 50 euros for key deposit. Preferred payment is direct euro deposit to bank unless discussed in advance. 50 euros extra per week for 3rd person We only book weekly and Saturday to Saturday.
