The St James Parish region

Barbados may be a small Island but it has a wealth of diverse and interesting possibilities to engage and delight even the most demanding holiday maker.

Surrounded by beautiful beaches which provide a wealth of opportunities for the sporty and those who just wish to relax and soak up the sun and atmosphere of this Caribbean treasure.

Whether you are a sailor, a diver, a paddle boarder or a water skier, a fisherman, a jet skier or a kite surfer, you will find them all available here along with many other water based activities.

There are some magnificent golf courses and also several world class Polo fields. We have a race course in Bridgetown ( The Garrison Savannah) and race meetings are a great way to meet the locals and have a great day out.

Cricket is a passion here in the Caribbean and nowhere more so than in Barbados. if you are fortunate enough to be here when there is a match on I urge you to go along - you will have a day to remember, I can guarantee that!

Barbados has a rich and fascinating history and there are some lovely plantation houses and museums which bring this heritage to life as well as some beautiful Churches to enjoy.

Bridgetown is the vibrant Capital and well worth a mornings visit to soak up the atmosphere of Barbadian life.

From the dramatic East Coast with it's dramatic rock formations and the huge waves of the Atlantic to the gentle turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean you will find much to fall in love with.

Porters

Just a few minutes gentle stroll from the house and you will find yourself on the Platinum Coast, so called because here the ocean is at it's calmest and it is here that the rich and famous choose to spend their holidays.

From the magnificent mansions along the shoreline to the little wooden houses that are dotted in between them this is an area of great contrasts.

Dinner can be a Five Star dining experience at one of the many top class restaurants along this stretch of coastline, or it can be a simple dish of fish and rice on the beach at a local beach bar - there are no set rules, just do as you please.

With no private beaches on the Island you are free to go where you please. We provide you with portable beach chairs and umbrella so you can just set off and explore - take a picnic and find your own little piece of heaven!

The best thing of all about Barbados is the warmth and friendliness of it's people. It bring people back time and time again.

Come and see for yourself!

We look forward to welcoming you.
