The Limassol District
Limassol District is one of the six districts of Cyprus. The second largest town, a centre of industry and an important exporting port, lies on the South coast of the island between the two ancient cities of Curium to the west and Amathus to the East. Modern Limassol is a tourist centre, with numerous hotels and apartment blocks in the town. It also has a large marina that takes in cruise ships from around the world.
Near the Limassol puplic Gargens is the Limassol district Archeological Museum. It houses an interesting collection of antiquities found in the Limassol area from the Neolithic age to the Roman period.
Explore Aphrodite’s Rock, the Tomb of the Kings, beaches, water-sports, water-parks and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Paphos, 20 minutes drive away, with its old harbour, restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
Go hiking or biking (or try some ski-ing in winter) or relax in one of the many interesting tavernas in the glorious Troodos mountains - which is a mere 30 minute drive north from the villa through tiny winding roads. Visit Cyprus's Mount Olympus which peaks at nearly 2,000m and drink in the clear air and gorgeous mountain scenery.

Pissouri / Pissouri Bay area
Pissouri Village is one of the most attractive, friendly villages in south-west Cyprus. It is situated in the principal vine growing area with sultana grape vines covering the surrounding countryside. This south-facing village, set high up on the hillside about 305 metres above sea level, commands a magnificent view of 32kms of Mediterranean coastline. To the south and east there are panoramic views of the coast, across vineyards, olive and carob trees and to the north one can see the majestic Troodos Mountains. Pissouri is situated just off the main Paphos to Limassol road. It has a unique and attractive chararcter loved by all visitors. The Cypriot character has been retained and it is still very much a working village. Visitors can find almost anything they need in the village. Here you will find true Cypriot hospitality. The centre of the village you will find the village square. The square has been pedestrianized with stone cobbled floors and has beautiful water fountains. This is real Cyprus with real Cypriots and a real traditional feel. The square is perfect for a lunch time snack, a gourmet meal or if you are up for it, a huge traditional meze . This village has it all & the views are breathtaking. You will be absolutely spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out! Try one of Pissouri’s famous courtyard restaurants where your setting is in an enclosed private garden or dance the night away in own of the towns lively pubs. There is definitely something for everyone in this lively little town.
Nature lovers will be delighted by the diverse species of native flora and fauna. There are more than 40 different species of orchids in vibrant colours waiting to be discovered. And the impressive white cliffs to the east of the bay are a well-known nesting ground for Griffon vultures.
Pissouri Bay is a beautiful blue flag beach a few minutes away from the villa and there you will find plenty of water sports available, some paragliding for those a bit more daring wind and kite surfing lessons available daily.
Pissouri Bay offers a varied range of good value restaurants and bars to help you enjoy the night life and once a week you can enjoy the local culture at the Cyprus night.
Restaurants The Vine Leaf - Restaurant is the most naturally Cypriot and relaxed of all the restaurants and tavernas in Pissouri. Operated and managed by its owner, Athos, you will always enjoy the food and the informality. In the summer eat under the vines, and in the winter in front of a log fire. Cypriots regard his meze as the best, he is proud of his fish, and his lamb . As they say about Cyprus itself, go there once and you will always return.
The Yialos Tavern Built to provide a view of the sea to its clients - an aim which succeeded spectacularly, delightful views over the bay. A quality restaurant offering a quality menu, with excellent service. It is particularly good for fish dishes in which it specialises.
Local Spa : At Columbia beach hotel allow yourself to be transported away from the mundane by reviving aromas and relaxing sounds in one of the best spas of Cyprus. The treatment menu at the Columbia is extensive offering signature treatments for both men and women.

Weather : Cyprus is blessed with perfect weather. The Mediterranean climate provides sunshine year round. Early October daytime temperatures 25-28 deg C. March will average 19-21 deg C but it can be cooler in the evenings so take a jacket or wrap. August temperatures can rise to 38 deg C, January daytime average is around 12-15 deg C. November temperatures will average 20 deg C.
Weddings : If you are about to attend a wedding at Cosmopolitan Columbia Beach Resort Chapel , the villa is an ideal place to stay. Walking distance.
How to get there
Easyjet fly from Manchester or Gatwick most days throughout the year. All major airlines fly into the Cyprus airports of Larnaca and Paphos from every part of the UK and Europe. Pafos Airport is only 20 min drive with low cost carriers flying in from the UK on a daily basis. Larnaka International Airport is only 1hr away and there is flight access from a multitude of major European hubs as well as several low cost carriers. There are several car hire companies at the airport which are open 24hrs. Also there are always local taxis available.

Lounge features comfortable leather sofas and arm-chair, TV and DVD player. There are air conditioning units in all bedrooms , kitchen and living area, which can be used for both heating and cooling and which are included in the price. A safety deposit box, hair-dryer and all linen and bathroom towels are provided, a baby cot and a high chair available upon request.
The master and 2nd bedroom have double beds and balcony with open views. The other two bedrooms have twin beds which can be made up as doubles if preferred, full length mirrors, and they both overlooked the large private pool and garden. All bedrooms have bedside tables & lamps.

The Villa is beautiful and very well equipped and there are some fantastic restaurants, all close to Villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return to Pissouri and Bayview.
What a fantastic villa! An excellent resort. Firstly, a BIG thank you for making our holiday so relaxing and enjoyable. The villa was superb, spotless and exceeded our expectations. It was immaculately clean and tidy when we arrived and very roomy due to the excellent design of the property. The groceries on arrival were very welcome and a nice touch. We found the owners to be both extremely friendly and helpful. The villa is situated in an ideal location to travel and see the sights. We all had a lovely time. The children spent a lot of the holiday in the pool. We were delighted. All the amenities we could want were just a few steps away. We actually could not fault the villa at all!! It was perfect for our needs and exactly what we hoped for. Once again we wanted to thank you for making our stay so pleasurable. We will definatlely consider a return.
We want to thank you once again for the lovely weeks in your house! We had a really enjoyable stay at Bayview villa . The villa was spotless and very comfortable also the pool and gardens were beautiful.

Most liked: The Bayview Villa is beautiful. It has everything you could wish for in the kitchen! The bedrooms are clean and well presented and what a difference the airconditioning machines make in the evenings. The outdoor area and pool are fantastic. We had BBQ's on the outdoor rotating grill a couple of evenings which was very authentically Greek!! Thank you for helping to make our trip so great!

The villa was beautiful and a perfect size, even for 8 adults. It was in an amazing location (right opposite the shops and restaurants) with only a very short walk to the beach and it had lovely views. The villa was also clean with really good amenities.
