Oceanside is a charming village, nestled on the hillside and overlooking the magnificent Pacific Ocean, with the BEST BEACH in NW Oregon! (We searched extensively)

Most of the homes here are set into the steep hillside, which means they include a steep, harrowing, walk/drive down to the beach! Which is why other homes here have similar views if you can tolerate the hassle & safety issues accessing the beach.

Anemone House is one of the few that are available ON the ocean, which allows a safe 1 block walk to the BEST BEACH in NW Oregon! There isn't direct beach access from our home, because then you would have many beach goers invading your privacy!

Dramatic Oceanfront views await you from this delightful, five bedroom, two bathroom home in Oceanside Oregon.

The private, expansive deck is a great place to enjoy the Ocean. Walk the beach, build a sand castle, investigate the tide pools, para-glide from the hilltop, or sit and listen to the sounds of the waves... Whatever your pleasure, you are certain to be delighted. All this, and only 90 minutes from Portland.

Our Non-Smoking home is cozy AND roomy with five bedrooms and two baths.

The sleeping accommodations include: 2 king and 1 twin bedrooms upstairs,all with ocean views.

There are 2 bedrooms on the main level. One has a queen bed and the other has both a queen and a twin. The beds have high quality mattresses with nova form toppers for a fabulous night's sleep.

The sheets are all sumptuous cotton 500 Thread count or higher. Plenty of cotton quilts and cozy blankets and no shortage of pillows!!!

The bathrooms are stocked with paper goods, hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo and conditioner, and big fluffy cotton towels.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you need to prepare a simple snack or a Thanksgiving feast! Including foil, plastic baggies and wrap, spices, oils, flour, sugar,splenda, coffee beans and grinder, coffee creamer, lots of tea, high quality pots and pans, bakewear, micro-wear, storage containers, the list is longer still.

There are TV's, DVD's, a CD player, and a telescope.

Anemone House is not wheelchair-friendly. Sorry.

8 person maximum regardless of age. The extra beds are for singles. No exceptions. Sorry. Your well mannered dog is welcome. If your plans include leaving your best friend at home, you will need to honor our rules for using the provided doggie gates, so they don't scratch our beautiful new doors.

RESERVATION NOTE: Summer is high season and every night will book. If you are looking to reserve in July or August, please make certain your check in and out do not leave any openings of one or two nights. Three is ok, zero is perfect. I will not accept any reservations that do not meet this requirement. Thank you!

You've heard the saying, "Heaven's a little closer in a cottage by the sea". You will find this true after staying in this lovely, inviting home. From the moment you step inside you feel a sense of peace and tranquillity. It's evident the owner has taken special care to make each and every room a fun and relaxing retreat. The home is custom decorated throughout with exactly what you would imagine and more for a place on the beach. During my visit it was cool out so I enjoyed curling up on the couch with a good book while enjoying the wood burning fireplace and the gorgeous ocean views. Even Fido will feel at home with all of the "pet friendly" items provided, including a bed just for him. The basket of goodies left for us was a special treat and I loved the drawer full of a variety of flavored teas.

There is room for 3 cars total! DO NOT park in front of any other home!
~DOGS- We love them but they cannot be left alone in the house unless in a crate that you supply or in one of the exercise pens found in the garage.
NO EGGSHELLS, CELERY, CARROT PEELS, COFFEE GROUNDS, SPOONS ETC. down the garbage disposal. You’ll foot the plumbing bill to unclog it. Best to use it sparingly!
