The apartment was totally refurbished in May 2011 with the aim being to provide everything needed to enjoy a holiday in Nice. The apartment is very light with comfortable and modern furniture and fittings.
We take great pains to review the requirements of prospective guests, and do not hesitate to point out anything we think may not meet the guest's expectations well in advance. Our sole objective is that guests have a wonderful holiday, and that they will want to return.
The apartment is in a fantastic location in the exclusive Mont Boron area of Nice, and is ideal for people looking for a combination of relaxation by the pool or beach combined with a desire to explore not just Nice, but the whole of the coastline from Monaco to St. Tropez using the cheap (€4 all day local bus pass) local transport.

Nice is renowned for its climate- sunny, cloudless blue skies in spring and summer, and warm in winter.
Until 1860 Nice was part of Italy, and the Italian influence is still very visible in the architecture and above all, the exquisite food.
Anyone coming to Nice is spoiled for choice in activities; all you have to do is decide. The broad choices are:

Sports Fanatics: Ski 90 minutes away, White Water Rafting, Canyoning, Kayaking, Challenging Walking, Paragliding, Grand Prix all within 90 minutes

Fantastic all ways around. This apartment was beyond our expectations, from the location, the views and the well stocked kitchen, we really enjoyed our stay in Nice.
The apartment could not be in a better location to tour the area, buses stop right outside the door. It took us a couple of days to get the bus schedule sorted out but once we did there was no stopping us. Menton, Monacco, Villefrance are just minutes and 1 Euro away.
We did buy the 7 day pass for 15 Euro, and used it a lot, but had a terrible time to find the office to buy passes.
The view from the balcony has everything. Sea, mountains and the city in between. We enjoyed the harbour and the huge yachts that came and went, the snow capped mountains were breath taking in the morning light and the Chateau Hill is lit at night making it easily a million dollar view.
The kitchen was a pleasure to use, just minus a toaster. All utensils and tools were in good repair and lots of dishes to choose from. A nice sized bath room, lots of hot water in a spacey shower washed away the days tired feet.
We were pleasantly surprised to get an email inviting us out to drinks with the apartment owners, they were in town to use the apartment right after us. They were a pleasure to meet and were concerned the apartment was acceptable and asked for recommendations to make it better. We couldn`t think of a thing, the missing toaster had been discussed ;).
We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment, we travel a lot and this is by far one of the better ones we`ve stayed in.
Once booked, we got a very helpful list of tips for the area from John, very much appreciated.
Thank you for your review- we are pleased that you had such a good time. We have now purchased a toaster ! We hope that you will return and enjoy all that Nice still has to offer.

"Very nice in Nice"
Excellent location with superb views.
An easy walk down to the harbour, or the supermarket. Stops for the frequent buses are within 50 metres; useful if you go for a trip around the coast or just want to avoid the walk back from the town.
The appartment is cleverly designed and the large bathroom and shower was appreciated. The kitchen area is well equipped and very usable - though the absence of a decent omelette pan meant that my breakfast habits needed to be modified. However, a cup of coffee and the view from the terrace made up for it!

The apartment is well-equipped, with easy lift access to third floor. T he living-room and a spacious balcony have views to die for - of the port, sea and mountains ....I could have spent the entire time there, sipping local wine, but the frequent buses just outside the apartment accessed all the cpastal towns and villages, including Monaco and Menton extremely cheaply (currently 1 euro per journey, irrespective of distance), so that the holiday offered a wonderful choice. including a garage if coming by car.

Appartement magnifique, propre et entièrement refait à neuf ! La cuisine est entièrement équipée, une superbe douche à l'italienne dans la salle de bain, un salon lumineux et une belle terrasse avec une vue imprenable sur le port et la Baie des Anges.
Vraiment bien situé, on accède à la mer et au port en 5 minutes à pied, le centre-ville historique n'est qu'à une quinzaine de minutes. Il y a aussi un supermarché à 10 minutes de marche de l'appartement, pratique pour les longs séjours. À noter que le bus s'arrête aux pieds de l'immeuble, ce qui est idéal si vous arrivez en transports en commun avec des bagages ou que vous souhaitez aller en ville. Le propriétaire m'a dit qu'il y a une place de parking réservée dans le garage de l'immeuble mais nous n'en avons pas eu besoin, n'ayant pas de voiture.
Nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la piscine car elle était fermée à cette époque de l'année mais tous les locataires y ont accès. Aucun problème pour récupérer ou rendre les clés de l'appartement au début et à la fin de notre séjour.
Je recommande cet appartement à toutes les personnes souhaitant passer un séjour au calme, dans un appartement confortable, tout en restant proche du centre-ville. Il convient parfaitement aux couples et personnes seules. Pour les groupes et familles, prévoyez 4 personnes maximum (1 lit double et 1 canapé-lit 2 places).
