The Black Sea Coast region
The Nessebar -Sunny Beach, St Vlas area is an uninterupted coastline of beautiful blue flag beaches filled with miles of golden sand and inland there are nature reserves nearby.
For day trips the cities of Varna and Bourgas are only 1-2 hours away and are well worth a visit. Istanbul is also only a few hours away and reasonable priced trips are available either to this fascinating city stunningly situated on the Bhosphorus and full of cultural sites as you would expect from this former capital of the Ottoman Empire available on day return or overnight packages.

Old Nessebar town a Unesco heritage site is a must for everyone visiting this region, with old cobbled streets and souvenir shops with very reasonably priced souvenirs and clothing.
The many fish and grill restaurants overlooking the harbour are especially good. Sunny beach for people who enjoy a lively(crazy) nightlife is literally 10 minutes away by bus or an hour on foot.
