Villa Hermosa is set back off the quiet road of Benicarlo behind lockable double gates with parking for 2 cars. The front door is quietly un-assuming but unfolds into a superbly planned villa. The living areas and bedrooms are all air-conditioned and for the cooler months it has underfloor heating.
Upstairs
Leading off the spacious hallway to your left there is an open plan fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, 4 ring gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a dining area off the kitchen with a large wooden table and 8 chairs which boasts magnificent views over the hillside. There are patio doors from the dining room which lead to an upstairs balcony with a table and chairs (with a sun blind for shade) with views of the sea, mountains and pool below.
The lounge follows through from the dining room and has a typically Spanish fireplace as its focal point. The lounge is air-conditioned with seating on 2 sofas for 8 people. There is a TV which has English Freeview channels, a DVD player and a BOSE docking station. Also provided are DVD's, books, games and jigsaws to entertain you. The patio doors off the lounge lead out to the balcony (which can also be accessed through the dining room) giving you the option to relax under another sunblind in comfy chairs.
Leading off the hallway is one of the master bedrooms which is air-conditioned, has a centre light with ceiling fan and is complete with integrated window mosquito net.
The bedroom has twin divan beds which share a large wooden headboard, (which can be made into a 6ft double bed) freshly laundered quality bed linen, bedside cabinets with bedside lamps for a more relaxing atmosphere. The triple wardrobe consists of an abundance of hanging and shelving areas. There is a full length mirror and a further set of drawers under an illuminated mirror ideal for doing your hair and make-up. The fully tiled en-suite bathroom consists of a large walk-in shower with room for drying off, a toilet and a basin with another illuminated mirror.
Downstairs
There is another master bedroom identical to the one up-stairs with its own en-suite. There are a further 2 bedrooms on this level which consist of separated twin beds, bedside cabinets with bedside lamps. There are triple wardrobes with hanging and shelving areas in both these bedrooms - the same as in the master bedrooms. There are wall mounted illuminated mirrors in these rooms with a shelf and plug socket below. The bedrooms are air-conditioned with a centre ceiling fan, integrated mosquito nets and black out blinds.
Complementary dressing gowns and toiletries are provided for adults.
A cot with bedding, two stair gates and a high chair are available on request for babies/toddlers.
Opposite the twin rooms there is a family bathroom with a full size bath, a separate shower, toilet and a pedestal basin with an illuminated mirror above.
Outside
The outside pool area is Villa Hermosa's jewel in its crown! A large secluded walled patio area is complemented by a large Naya, (which is a large covered area) and has a dining table and chairs, sofa and comfy chairs. There is also a table tennis table and a swing ball. At the end of the Naya is a small kitchen comprising of a fridge, sink, 2 ring gas hob, and a cabinet filled with non-breakable crockery for use around the pool and BBQ area.
As you walk out of the Naya onto the patio there is a covered tiled area with a sink and a charcoal BBQ with lighting for in the evenings.
The walled garden is surrounded with the most fantastic Mediterranean plants which give off an exquisite aroma in the evenings. The 8 meter by 4 meter swimming pool can be illuminated at night and heated in the cooler months. There are 8 sunbeds next to the pool for gaining that Mediterranean glow and a unique curved outside shower. Swing ball can also be played here for the more competitive guests.
At the end of the swimming pool facing west is a large chill out area with a built in sofa, huge comfy cushions and a large sun umbrella. This area is perfect for relaxing in the afternoons, enjoying the sunset with an early evening drink or socialising after dark under an illuminated palm tree.
Tucked away around the far end of the Naya is a rotary cloths line a necessity for drying wet swim wear.
