All bed linen, sets of bath towels, bath mats and a tea cloth are provided. Please bring your own beach towels or they can be hired for a small cost.

A welcome pack can also be arranged if required, approx cost 15€ to include: Water, T-Bags ,Coffee, Sugar, Milk, Wine, Beer,Bread,Butter and Marmalade.
The villa is cleaned thoroughly between rentals.

Places of interest:
Only a thirty minute drive away are four exciting and fun family theme parks. “Terra Mitica” (owned and operated by Paramount), “Aqualandia” Water Park, “ Mundomar” (Spain's answer to Sea World) and Terra Natura, a new generation wildlife park. Also within easy driving distance is Vergel Safari Park near Denia.
Surrounded by magnificent mountains, the local Jalon Valley is known as The Valley of Wine. There are at least three bodegas (vineyards) where you can spend many a leisurely hour sampling the various wines. In late January the whole of the valley is covered with almond blossom; one can only describe the view as a magnificent blanket of pink and white. Well worth a visit.
The Moraira / El Portet area
El Portet:
El Portet is a picturesque and shallow secluded beach resort in a sheltered bay, within walking distance of central Moraira. Both El Portet and Moraira are elegant resorts that have been spared of the over-development of many other towns along the Costa Blanca.
The beach at El Portet is one of the two main beaches in Moraira, both awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness. Favoured by families, it has a gentle slope into the water, which is wonderfully warm, clean and beautiful and very safe for family bathing. The sandy beach is ideal for children and is backed by a handful of beach bars that serve food and drink. Nestled above the beach is the 2 star Michelin restaurant: Le Dauphin.
Moraira:
The main beach at Moraira is L’Ampolla where soft golden sands shelve gently into clean shallow water, perfect for families with young children. The luscious green countryside surrounding the town is dotted with whitewashed luxury villas mingling with pine woods, cultivated vine terraces and orange groves. This provides an idyllic setting for families or couples wanting peace and privacy. Or, for those seeking a more energetic holiday, there are many activities and attractions to be found in the locality. Moraira has a wide choice of restaurants offering cuisine from around the world. There are also many bars and pavement cafes and a wide choice of harbour-side bars.
Activities near Moraira:
For the peaceful nature of the area there is a range of activities for all ages. Tennis, football, squash, diving and other water sports, boat hire, boat trips etc. Jet skiing is also available in high season from the main port area.
Golf is well catered for, with excellent clubs on the Costa Blanca, two located in the Moraira area.
For car enthusiast’s, there is a fantastic Go-Karting circuit 5 minutes drive from Moraira.
For those who wish to see the countryside, nearby is the Jalon valley, a walker's paradise with routes ranging from a very gentle stroll to a six hour walk around the Sierra Bernia mountains. Alternatively you may like to take a trek through the vineyards on horseback, from one of the local stables.
Fiestas:
There are many Fiestas held in this region throughout the year, the main ones being in April, June, July and November. Local tourist information centres can provide details.

Moraira is an easy drive from both Alicante and Valencia airports along the Motorway AP7 exiting at junction 63. Most of the low cost airlines fly into these airports including Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, Jet2, BMI Baby and many more. I'd recommend car hire in order to make the most of your stay and see everything the region has to offer. We usually use Doyouspain.com. Alternatively you can take a taxi from either airport at approx 90€ to 100€ one way. The motorway is a toll road so expect to collect your ticket from the booth when you join the AP7 and pay the €6-10 toll on exiting the motorway. Alternatively you can catch the Ferry from Portsmouth or Plymouth to Santander and drive the 600 km from the North Coast to the South.

Just returned with my wife from one week at the Casa de Paz. One word "Fan-tas-tic" Can't wait to go back next year. Its situation, quiet, upmarket,yet not isolated. The decor very modern and spotlessly clean. It has everything one could possibly need on a weeks holiday.In fact the description of the property on its webside says it all. There was even a welcoming pack with wine, beer,milk, bread and other items waiting for us on arrival. We also liked Moraira very much. No large hotels or lager louts. The villa was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. Lots of very useful information about places to visit and local restaurants. Welcome pack was a nice touch. The parking was right outside. Lovely and quiet, not overlooked. Loved the bbq and the terrace. Glad we hired a car to pop to shops and town (lovely big free car park ). Enjoyed the use of free wi-fi. Would love to return in the future. |

CHANGEOVER DAY IS WEDNESDAY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CHEAPER MIDWEEK FLIGHTS. Though flexible in low season. A 25% deposit is required to secure the booking, this is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. The remaining balance of the rental fee is due eight weeks prior to your arrival. Failure to make this payment will result in the booking being cancelled. Refundable breakages deposit of £200 is also payable with the final payment.
