Just a 10-15 minute walk through the woods along a cycle track to the superb long soft sandy beaches the Vendee is famous for, and walking distance to the delightful seaside town of La Tranche sur Mer, one of the loveliest and most unspoilt holiday destinations in France.
With large private heated pool (high spec all year round heating system), garden, and all mod cons. France at it's best, with superb beach, pool and pine woods for walking. We can also offer for our customers discounted ferry and tunnel crossings.

Large 36 m sq open plan lounge/dining area with internet access, satellite TV and large DVD library. Large modern kitchen with breakfast bar and all mod cons. Includes dishwasher, microwave, fan oven, electric hob.
Will sleep 11 plus 2 infants, 13 in total.

Large (10 x 5m) heated pool (with saftey fencing) in garden just a few feet from the back door. Large sandy garden with decking areas, outside furniture, bbq and table tennis table. The beach is just a short walk along fabulous cycle track through the woods.
Cycle tracks all around and we provide and maintain 10 bikes for all ages. The local pine woods all around the villa are full of marked trails from 20 minutes to several hours duration.
Ideal location also for access to all the Vendee tourist attractions from La Rochelle to Puy de Fou. Local beach ideal for swimming & water sports of all kinds. Monitored bathing & surfing school on local beach (the best in the Vendee)

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Vendee region
Famous for numerous gently sloping beaches which are ideal for water sports or just sunbathing. The region is also noted for the 'Venise Vert' (Green Venice) canal system. For the connoisseur the Vendée is surrounded on three sides by the Loire, Cognac and Bordeaux. Inland the landscape is dominated by vineyards and sunflower fields with small villages every few miles. Ideal for a quiet holiday in the sun, the Vendée is said to equal anywhere in France for hours of sunshine each year. The climate means the season extends from Easter to late October - the average monthly temperature in September is 70 degrees.
The La Tranche sur Mer / La Terriere area
La Tranche is a French holiday town in pine woods and on superb beach that extends for 13km. There are superb local facilites of all kinds, and easy access to them on network of cycle tracks.

Le Pavot is ideally located in the Southern Vendée, West France, being only 3 1/2 hours easy drive from the nearest Cross Channel Ferry Port, St Malo and a 40 minute drive to the bustling fishing town of La Rochelle.
Flying with Ryanair or Flybe is very quick, easy and usually cheap, though prices vary a lot.
Ryanair fly daily from Stansted to La Rochelle, Poitiers, and Tours. Also La Rochelle is 50 minute drive to Le Pavot, Poitiers about 2 hours and Tours about 2 1/2 hours.
Flybe fly from Southampton, Birmingham and Manchester to La Rochelle.
Flights are only a little over an hour and the airports have car hire booths for all the main hire companies. Car hire is fairly cheap but need to remember cost of parking at UK airports when planning.

Easy to book, any queries answered immediately a very easy transaction. Directions to the villa were comprehensive and straightforward. Lovely villa and in a ideal location for the holiday that we wanted. Easy walk to beach and shop for bread each day, short drive to supermarket. Each room fitted out with all that you would need and everything clean, in good condition and in working order. We had the best of both worlds ie for those that liked the beach and those who preferred the pool - perfect. Unable to think of a negative!
