The house has been sympathetically renovated, keeping the original features such as open fires and domed ceilings. It has a wonderful secluded leafy garden which overlooks the mountains.
Introdacqua is famous for it's summer festivals including the Internationally renowned Jazz festival held each year. Nearby Sulmona has an annual jousting festival and is a great place to explore. with the beaches of Pescara and three national parks within 45 minutes drive, Introdacqua is the perfect base for exploring Abruzzo.

Introdacqua is one of Italy's 50 most beautiful villages. Tucked in a luscious mountain valley where the climate is cooler on the hottest summer nights. This lively village hosts an Internationally famous jazz festival each August. There are also many other festivals throughout the year.
There are cafes, bars and restaurants and a weekly market. The local town of Sulmona is 7km away and is world famous for the sugared almonds used as wedding favours and the poet Ovid. It also has a famous jousting festival in August and a wonderful twice weekly market in an amazing piazza.
