About 130 m2 of living space, 4 bedrooms, sleeps for 8 people + 1 baby, it offers : On the ground floor : 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, WC
On the first floor : 1 bedrooms with 1 double bed 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds shower room, WC.
Outside, you have a courtyard (30 m2) with a garden set and a barbecue. One car park is available in the property.
For baby : a highchair, a baby bed, a swaddle table are available.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Charente Maritime region
The department of Charente-maritime is located on the west coast of France.
The organisation of events such as festival “sites en scène”, “académies musicales de Saintes”, “les francofolies de La Rochelle”, the international festival film of La Rochelle, “le grand pavois”, the marathon, all contribute daily to the vitality of the department.
The superb aquarium at La Rochelle, the Saintes’arena, the beautiful La palmyre zoo (Royan) make good day trip destinations.
Ile de ré, off La Rochelle is linked to mainland by a bridge (3 km) since 1988. The island is flat land of 30 km long. There are 12 villages (pop.14,000). The islands’ nickname is “Ré the white” because the village have retained their authentic charm with their white walls and green shutters. You’ll enjoy walking through the narrow streets full of hollyhocks.
The cycling paths (over 60 miles) around the island are of great interest and beauty as they are next to the sea and away from the main routes.
The charente Maritime is the second sunniest area of France, with its own micro-climate.
The island is famous for its salt, witch is collected by salters towards the western end of the island, its oyster and potatoes, and its aperitif wine : the famous pineau.
La Flotte en Ré is a quiet village, ideal for family holidays : sandy beach, pretty port with shops and restaurants…
Ile de Re / La Flotte en Re area
The pretty village of LA FLOTTE is located on the north coast of the island. Just 5 minutes by car from ST MARTIN, the island's lively capital. Harbour is an ideal place to eat, drink and be merry. There is also a play area for children and a nautical club. You can also wander through the 12th century market, which is open all year round, for fresh vegetables, sea food and other local produces. Unwind on the fine, sandy beach or enjoy windsurfing, sailing, horse riding or cycling, play tennis...
How to get there
BY TRAIN TO LA ROCHELLE : Daily trains to Nantes, Bordeaux, and Paris Montparnasse (TGV). Paris-La Rochelle takes a little less than 3 hours. There is a bus link beetween La Rochelle train station and the ile de Ré (it goes through all the villages).The trip takes about an hour.
BY PLANE TO LA ROCHELLE : Bristol by Easyjet (www.easyjet.com) Dublin and London (Stansted) by Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) Birmingham and southampton by Flybe (www.flybe.com)
There is no direct bus service between La Rochelle airport and ile de Ré. But it 's possible to book a taxi.

5 - 19 July 2008 Thank you for a wonderful fortnight in Ile de Ré. Lem house was fantastic. The house is well equipped and meticulously cleaned. The house is situated perfectly in the heart of town and offers easy access to the restaurant and beach. The yard was fantastic in that its gave our young son a safe place to play.
