CASA MÓNICA is a traditional Catalan farmhouse that has been restored and has space for 13 people. It is now a holiday gem of very high quality - in totally stunning surroundings. Here you live peacefully among hills with trees, and with a pool in the garden, this is the base for an unforgettable holiday.

CASA MÓNICA has noisy neighbors - only the quiet countryside. The hilly landscape, cultivated fields and small streams creates a special atmosphere, and despite the hot and dry climate, the garden at the house is green and neat. There is a very beautiful view from virtually anywhere in the house and garden.

When you enter the nice entry, you are met by a large spacious family room. Here there is a cozy corner with comfortable sofas, and behind this, there is a large and wide dining table, where you can enjoy your meals. Next to the family room the authentic kitchen is where you have all the necessary utensils - including a dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave and many other things. The kitchen is great, and the owner has put a lot of effort into it. From the aforementioned living room there is a staircase to the first floor where the bedrooms of the house are: There are a total of 7 rooms, of which 1 is a single room and 6 double rooms. Several of the beds can be moved apart, so can adapt the rooms. All rooms are of high quality and are very spacious. Two of the bedrooms have a huge shared balcony with chairs, where the sunset can be enjoyed in the evening. From one of the bedrooms you can actually see the sunset directly from the bed. There are 4 bathrooms in total, of which one is en suite. They are all modern and beautifully decorated.

Much of your time down here will be spend in the lovely garden, and especially the plant covered terrace will be the holiday’s natural meeting point. The fact that the garden is fairly green shows that the owners have put a lot of work into it. It's rare that a house has such a beautiful and well-kept garden like this. Up behind the covered terrace there is a wonderful little orchard, where you can taste real Catalan fruit.

A clear hit among the kids is the swimming pool. With a size of 32 m2 and with sun beds for all guests in the house, this is the perfect place for ultimate relaxation. Here you can enjoy the Catalan sun at full blast, and if it gets too hot, you can take swim in the cooling water. The pool is located on top of a cliff, and there has been placed a fence around it. There are also at the pool breathtaking views over the Catalonian countryside.

The nearest town, Gironella, is located just 9 km away. Here there are both shopping, cafes and restaurants.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
