From the owner

La Roubine, is an independent, well equiped and confortable holidayletting with a private garden. It is decorated with good taste and taken well care of. Everything is waiting for in best condition including the bed linen and towels.

The bedroom faces south to the spacious garden allowing privacy and peace. The bedroom consists of a really confortable twin bed (1,6 x 2m), night tables, drawer for your clothing (in the entrance there is a double cupboard for hangin your clothes).

The living area has windows in three directions and a direct access to the private garden.

The open kitchen is equipped for food lovers with sophisticated cookware, utensils and even cook books.

The available multimedia and internet equipment, films, music and games provide amusement often needed especially after visiting the various tourist sites in the surrounding area. The equipment consists of a airconditioner, WIFI, TV with over 100 channels, DVD reader and numerous DVD's in English, French, German, Finnish...)

The big green garden offers shady places for afternoon naps or relaxing pauses. (The Jacuzzi has been removed due to Covid19).

La Roubine is perfect for you who wish to discover the sunny Provence on your rhythm and likes. It is situated in the centre of various interesting tourist sites in the heart of Provence.

La Roubine is in the historical village of Velleron, in the centre of most interesting Provence tourist routes. The mountains of le Mont Ventoux, le Luberon or the towns of Isle sur la Sorgue, Avignon or Apt, are all in the reach of less than a half an hour drive.

Velleron is lively village with some 3000 inhabitants famous for the daily farmers market offering a large choice of vegetables, fruit, olive oil, wines, flowers and in summer time the nearly daily concerts or other amusements offered free at the Place de l'Eglise by sun set.

Various activities are available in the surroundings: golf, tennis, cycling, horse riding and bathing. Moreover the nearby towns offer attractive choices for wondering in the provencial ambiance.

We do our best to facilitate your vacation:

- at arrival the beds are made

- you find refreshments in the fridge

- you find fresh vegetables and fruit at the Velleron farmers' market until 8pm every evening (except Sundays)

- the closest food shop is in 0,5km and open till 8pm and Sunday mornings. They are very kind and have really a good choice of things you need.

- the local bakery is open daily from 7am to 1pm. They offer a large selection of fresh bread. The croissants, pain gourmand et le pain Savane are our favorites

- in the central round-about you find Rouget, an awesome cake and chocolate shop. It is highly recommended to pay a visit.

- the village offers also ready made food: two pizzerias, two bistro-type restaurants, a Vietnamise take-away food shop, and Nicolas the Glacier (Ice-cream café) on the road leading to Le Thor.

In La Roubine, your privacy is assured.

We are very happy to help you in discovering the local way of living, the local events as well as the less known places of interest.
