Home description
Our lovely, comfortable, spacious apartment has been decorated and furnished to a high quality and is very well equipped. We have tried to think of everything to make this a real home from home and help make your stay special. We even provide a welcome pack to get you started. Our apartment has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and a lounge/dining room which leads on to a small balistrade balcony. Leading off from the master bedroom is your own small private courtyard area.
Although there is no smoking within the apartment you are welcome to smoke on the balcony or in the private courtyard area.
Children are very welcome, they love being so close to the beach and it makes life simple for you too!
The apartment is situated immediately behind the beach front properties, lovely and close to the beach and sea view restaurants but just far enough away to be tranquil when you want peace and quiet. As we are in a no through road there is no street noise. Just perfect for holidays or longer stays!
In just a few steps you are on the promenade, with it's family friendly bars and restaurants, many of which are open year round, and the Marina is just a little further. There are many family orientated attractions in the area.
Golfers are spoilt by a choice of several golf courses within easy reach. The Bodega around the corner is paradise for Wine Connoisseurs and pretty amazing for the rest of us! The mountains nearby are perfect for walkers or you can even go paragliding. Those of you interested in history will be fascinated by the many castles and monuments in the area.
You can hire bicycles locally, go quad biking or scuba diving from El Campello. Night-owls can experience the lively night life in Alicante and Benidorm (easily reached by train) then come back to the more relaxed atmosphere in El Campello, a holiday perfect for all.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
A car is not necessary as the bus stop is nearby to take you sightseeing in Alicante and less than 10 minutes walk away is the Trenet Railway Station from where you can catch the coastal train. This will take you south to Playa Muchavista (another beautiful sandy beach), Playa San Juan and Alicante, or North to Villajoyosa (traditional coloured houses), Altea (Tuesday Market), Benidorm (Terra Mitica Theme Park , Terra Natura Animal & Water Park, Aqualandia Water Park, Nightclubs, etc), Denia, etc. In the high season the night train runs throughout the night.
If you do hire a car then you can visit a huge variety of interesting areas. Guadalest with its castle, medieval buildings and spectacular views, Font de Algar waterfalls, the Science Park in Valencia, Cathederal in Murcia, the Palm Forest of Elche, castle of La Mola in Novelda, castles in Sax, Castilla, Villena, Chocolate Museum in Villajoyosa, Caves near Busot , plus much much more
El Campello area
El Campello is a typical Spanish seaside town with many seaview restaurants, ice cream parlours and bars. It has a beautiful esplanade to stroll along and a marina where you can buy freshly caught fish. The long sandy beach is perfect for cultivating that tan and with plenty of room for ball games.
Also in close proximity to the apartment is a supermarket, a bodega (wine cellar) and many other small shops. Internet and telephone booths are less than a 2 minute stroll.
You can watch the fishing boats coming in at the Marina and buy the fish fresh from the market alongside late afternoon. Also overlooking the Marina is The Watch Tower, built in 1554 to defend the inhabitants from raids by the Barbary pirates and there is an archaeological site 3,500 years old.
On 16th July the sailors pay their respects to their patron saint la Virgen del Carmen with a well-loved maritime procession and fireworks. Between 9th October and 15th October there are Moors and Christians Festivals, very noisy but great fun. Throughout the high season there are many open air entertainments, free to all.
In the high season you can catch the glass bottom boat to Tabarca Island and have a fantastic fish lunch or explore the village, take a stroll around the island, or just sunbathe. A ferry also runs North to Benidorm or South to Alicante.
How to get there
Alicante Airport is 25 mins away by taxi/car.
There are many car hire companies situated at the airport although once in El Campello a car is not necessary as there are good bus and train services within easy walking distance of the apartment. Taxis are easily available from the airport and cost 34E to transfer you to our apartment .
Alicante Airport is a popular international airport used by budget ( Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch) and schedule airlines. Murcia Airport and Valencia Airport are both approximately 1 1/2 hours away by car.

Further details indoors: The lounge has a comfortable seating area with a DVD/CD player, video player, amplified speakers for connecting your MP3 player, and the Satellite television picks up Skynews, BBC News, Radios 1, 2, 3 and 4 plus various film, music and children's channels. There are games, books and videos. For your convenience we supply a 4 way british extension block so you don't need to bring your adaptors.
The dining area comfortably seats 6. New for 2009 good quality hot and cold air conditioning for the lounge/dining room area.
The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, we even have a large shopping trolley to save you carrying your shopping and a cool bag to take to the beach.
The balcony has a cafe table with 4 folding chairs.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed with en suite bathroom, good quality hot and cold air conditioning and a door leading to your own small private courtyard.
There is also 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom and a spacious family bathroom. Both bathrooms have a bath with shower over. All rooms are fitted with ceiling fans.
We have a full size traditional cot available on request.
This is a small apartment block with just 8 apartments, ours is on the first floor. There are six steps to climb to reach the lift.
For your safety we have two smoke detectors fitted and a fire extinguisher.
Further details
A welcome pack is included in the price so you don't have to worry about shopping straight away. Bed linen and towels for use within the apartment are provided. Whilst of course the apartment is insured, we would strongly advise you to take out your own personal insurance. Please note that checkout time is 12.00 a.m. and arrival time 4.00 p.m. We are flexible on this bookings permitting.
Conditions
A £140 non refundable deposit will secure your booking. The remaining balance is to be paid 6 weeks before the date of your holiday. A refundable breakage deposit of £100 is required from which any damage or breakages will be deducted (if applicable) before refunding to you. This should be given in cash immediately upon your arrival so that we can return it to you immediately on your departure.

Myself and 4 other girl friends thoroughly enjoyed our week spent in El Campello, the apartment and welcome pack was lovely and the beach was beautiful and not too crowded. There were plenty of places for us to eat and drink in El Campello and for a bigger nights out we caught the tram to Alicante and Benidorm, both are open throughout the night and have endless clubs and bars for all tastes. The locals were friendly and it was not too touristy just right for us. With enough nightlife, sun and sand to make us not want to go home!
