Gentian cottage is tastefully decorated through out while combining a traditional flag stone entrance hall with wooden floors and its furnished with all modern conveniences makes this a perfect holiday home of choice. A private tour of Ballinalacken Castle which dates back to the late 13th Century is offered.

The Cottage is set on the verge of " Green Walking Routs" which is suitable for hikers, walkers alike.

The County Galway/County Clare region

The cottage is set on an elevated site overlooking the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, and Galway Bay and of course the heart of the rugged Burren landscape which is famous for is flora and fauna.

The area is steeped in History , such as a private tour of Ballinalacken Castle which dates back to the late 13th Century as its closed to the public a tour can be arranged.

Doolin cave is only a short stroll from the cottage which is home of the largest stalactite in Europe.

Surfing, fishing, Golfing and horse riding is all within a 10 km radius of the cottage,


Doolin and Lisdoonvarna village is only 2.5 klm of the cottage.

Doolin is famous for its traditional Irish pubs and fine restaurants where you can experience real Irish culture and also some of its favourite cuisine.

Why not ferry to the Aran Islands and around the Cliffs of Moher? Which have spectacular views all year round.

Also you can try your hand at surfing and fishing, this is a must in Doolin.

Lisdoonvarna "Spa Town" is famous for its Sulphur water and Matchmaking festival which starts at the end of August to the beginning of October which is not to be missed.
