The apartment is on the second (top) floor of the front building at Boka Heights, in an elevated position about 300m from the waterfront at Dobrota. You can enjoy spectacular views from the private terrace, from the Living Room and from the Bedroom - wake up to the view without getting out of bed! Boka Heights comprises 4 buildings with landscaping, walkways, stairways and a pool area designed to benefit from the view over the Fjord. There is private parking immediately in front of the apartments.

A few minutes walk takes you to the waterfront, with numerous places for fishing and swimming from stone ‘pontas’. A walk along the side of the Fjord takes you all the way from Dobrota to Kotor, about 5km away.

The beautiful town of Perast is 10km away.

Boka Heights has a swimming pool for guests. The pool is set to the side of the apartments and also enjoys great views over the Bay.

The Kotor Municipality region

The apartment is in an elevated position about 300m from the waterfront at Dobrota on the stunning Boka Kotorska (Kotor Bay).

Kotor is about 4km away. Kotor ‘Old Town’ is a World Heritage Site with restaurants, cafes and bars.

Perast is about 10km away. Its beautiful location on the side of the fjord and its its islands are much photographed and can be seen in the distance from the terrace of the apartment.

This region of Montenegro enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is generally hot and sunny in the Summer months, with very pleasant weather in Spring and Autumn.

Dobrota

Towns around the Kotor Bay and along the Adriatic coast are all within easy driving distance - the lovely town of Perast, the World Heritage Site of Kotor, the popular town of Budva, Tivat with its planned marina for mega yachts, the iconic photo opportunity at Sveti Stefan. There are sandy beaches along the coast within about 20 minutes. Inland places of interest include Cetinje, Lake Skadar and the Tara Canyon.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Kotor and others around the Bay. There are some large new supermarkets about 10 minutes away (on the way to Tivat) and several smaller convenience stores locally. Kotor also has banks and plenty of shops.

"Amazing Views"

What a beautiful spot on the bay of Kotor!! Definately one of the best views as the apartment is the highest up the hillside from Dobrota but not too high for the walk up to be difficult. Although the photos look fab we did not expect such excellent accommodation in Montenegro but we were totally wrong, everything was perfect and spotlessley clean and the spec for the apartment was spot on. Also a lovely pool, one of the only pools in the area, again lovely and clean. Very few beaches but plenty of rock platforms and access to the sea from along the Dobrota coast. Lovely holiday, thanks Mike and Daniel for all your assistance and hope to see you again soon.

"August '12"

A great location on the fjord close to Kotor, , with spectacular views from this apartment. The apartment itself was very comfortably furnished, and we enjoyed the owner's photographs on the walls, and the other small touches which gave this a very homely feel. Only the lovely summer weather wasn't like the UK!!!!

"Outstanding views"

Having just returned from two weeks at Boka Heights we would agree with the other reviewers that the apartment and location is brilliant. You could happily spend a holiday close to the apartment as there are stunning views from the balcony, shared pool and at the bottom of the road there is easy access to swimming in the fjord and a really nice restaurant (Forza Mare). You can visit Kotor by foot or car to walk up to the fortifications and see the old town and there are a good selection of restaurants to suit all budgets. There are also lots of other interesting places to visit within a short drive.

"Great apartment in the perfect location for exploring Montenegro"

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a week's stay at Boka Heights and it was fantastic. The apartment is really nicely appointed with terrific views, lovely landscaping and a great pool overlooking the bay. It's the perfect base for touring Montenegro as all the major destinations are easily accessible by car and you can walk into Kotor itself (along the waterfront) in less than an hour. The owner Mike was really helpful in the run-up to our visit and Daniel (his man on the ground) was equally helpful once we'd arrived. Great value and highly recommended.

"Outstanding location"

We stated at this one bed apartment in June and the air conditioning was welcome. The views are outstanding. The facilities are good. Restaurants nearby. An uphill walk home but worth it. There are plenty of places to swim in the sea just a 5 minute walk downhill. We found the people of Montenegro very helpful and welcoming. We explored the immediate area and found a car essential. Kotor old town is a lovely place with plenty of restaurants and cafes. We would certainly recommend this apartment and would hope to come back to Montenegro soon.

"Fantastic views from flat, beautiful area"

Our first time in Montenegro. Flat is conveniently placed in beautiful location with walled towns 10 minutes drive away along edge of lake. Fantastic views from the balcony and bedroom of the flat, and from the swimming pool. Peaceful location set back from the road with own parking. Modern flat with mod cons including air conditioning which was very useful in August. Interior of Montenegro fascinating if prepared to drive round dozens of hair pins. Easy access from Dubrovnik. Had a great holiday.

"Comfortable and very picturesque."

I spent a lovely week at Boka Heights. The apartment was comfortable and had a wonderful view. There was a well-equipped kitchen for home-cooking, although there are some fantastic restaurants in the local area. The apartment is a short distance from the waterfront - but we spent several of our days lazing around the pool sipping fruit cocktails. The area is very peaceful and a fantastic get-away from other over-developed destinations.

"Fantastic apartment- highly recommend!!"

The apartment was fantastic exactly as advertised. The View is straight out over the bay and is an amazing way to start and end the day. The village is lovely with good swimming and restaurants and good links to main transport areas although I would recommend a hire car if you want to go further. Swimming pool is superb- especially as there were few guests staying so was like a private pool!! would highly recommend as Mike is very helpful and their is also a Remote Control who run the apartment locally which are helpful and on hand if there is an emergency or problem. would definaltely return- 10/10!!

"lovely views"

Apartment has stunning views from all rooms which you could spend hours looking at. Comfortable apartment, has everything you need and in a good location to visit all local attractions.Pool is good too. There are some lovely restaurants you can walk to, the hotel opposite is great for a treat lovely food and very special sitting on the decking. Taxis are reasonable in to Kotor or you can walk in, which is lovely with all the lights at night.

"Fantastic apartment with breathtaking views and sunsets"

The apartment ticked all the right boxes. Beautifully maintained both inside and out and very good value for money. The view overlooking the bay was spectacular and the sunsets alone were worth the journey. Both the owner Mike and his local agent Daniel couldn't have been more helpful, giving lots of tips and advice for our first visit to Montenegro. We had a wonderful holiday and hope to go back again.
