Villa El Rincón is situated in a peaceful environment in Dénia 130 meter above sea level with panoramic stunning sea views and magnificent mountain views. Private 8x4 meter pool. The plot (1,340 m2) and private garden is gated/fenced and landscaped with lawn, plants and fruit trees. The villa is a well maintained modernized charming 3 room / 2 bedroom house with open plan layout and practical furnishing. It is located in the Montgó district next to Montgó natural park just 2.6 km from Dénia city center and 2.6 km from the nearest beach (playa La Marineta Casiana). The front of the villa is facing stunning views over the valley and the beautiful Mediterranean coastline, and behind the villa there are impressive views over the magnificent 753 meter high mountain Montgó.

Relax around the pool and garden for swimming and enjoying the sun, take a trip to the beach or to another of the many destinations to explore in Dénia and around Costa Blanca. Some of the best theme parks in Europe are only a short drive away. Enjoy the evening with a barbecue dinner by the pool, with the terrace lights and pool light on that gives that cosy and luxurious feeling, or have a delicious dinner in one of the many restaurants in and around Dénia. If you want to give yourselves a real treat, try the 3-star Michelin restaurant Quique Dacosta just outside of Dénia center.


Sleeping possibilities: 2 + 2 + 1. There are two bedrooms with double beds, and possibility for one extra single bed (ErgoMaxx XL, 205 cm x 163 cm) in the living room. A cot is available on request.

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with gas and electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee maker, and plenty of storage space. The kitchen has sea and mountain views.

Living/dining room: Open plan spacious room with leather sofas and a dining table for 6 people. Flat screen TV with lots of multilingual satellite channels (Astra). CD-player and radio. Fantastic views overlooking the pool terrace and the sea. A high chair available on request.

Bathroom: Bathtub with shower.

Bedroom 1: Double bed with reading lights, exit to terrace with fantastic sea and mountain views. Air conditioning, terrace door shutter/blind and mosquito net.

Bedroom 2: Double bed with reading lights. Air conditioning, window shutter/blind and mosquito net.

Outdoors: Several terraces, private pool (8x4 m) with outdoor shower, private secure parking for several cars. The plot is closed/fenced for privacy and security. There is a barbecue, terrace furniture and sun beds (4). Tranquil elevated area on the side of mount Montgó. Only limited local traffic, most of the roads are dead end streets / cul-de-sac.

English and Spanish speaking property manager on hand to answer any questions (available 24-hours for emergencies). Pool cleaner comes at least once a week (twice a week during the summer) to keep the pool in good condition. Please note that there are two houses on the plot. For your privacy, the second house is guaranteed to be unoccupied during the renting.

There is a great water park and a theme park, both located in Benidorm about 30 minutes south of Dénia. Benidorm is also known for its great night life. Valencia, Spain's third biggest city, is only about one hour away.

The Valenciana region

Costa Blanca is in the province of Alicante. It consists of around 200 km of Mediterranean coastline though its borders aren't strictly defined. To the north it includes the popular resorts of Gandia, Javea and Dénia and to the south it extends to the development of Torrevieja. Around here marks the beginning of the Costa Calida.

Benidorm, just 55 km from Dénia, has some world class theme parks which can easily be reached from the 'Autopista AP-7' which runs the full length of the Costa Blanca.

There are Costa Blanca Markets which take place on different days along the coast and from most resorts you'll be able to book boat trips that take you along the Costa Blanca. Another novelty is the Denia Tram which runs up and down the coast between Alicante and Denia with many stops in between.

If you have a rental car and fancy escaping from the beach for a day then there's a treat waiting for you in the beautiful countryside inland from the Costa Blanca. Here you'll find one of Spain's great undiscovered gems which is growing in popularity with walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and nature lovers in general. In the off season it's well worth stopping off at the lovely town of Guadalest though the place is overrun with tourists during the peak season. A lovely spot for lunch is at one of the seafront restaurants in the quaint fishing community of Villajoyosa just south of Benidorm.

Dénia lies some 7km north of Javea along a spectacular winding mountain road watched over by Montgo Mountain. It is an attractive resort with a fascinating old town, fine restaurants and magnificent beaches stretching for many kilometers to the north.


Dénia, along with its neighboring communities, has a reputation of being among the world's healthiest places, a fact which has been officially recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO).

There are daily Dénia to Ibiza Ferry services (you can see Ibiza on a clear day) and Mallorca. There are also full and half day mini cruise options along the coast which visit other resorts including Javea, Calpe and Altea. The ferry terminal in the town center lies only about 300m from the town's train station which is convenient for services south to Alicante (if you're headed north to Valencia you'll need to take a bus to Gandia and catch the train there).

Near the Dénia train station is the very helpful tourist information (Glorieta del Oculista Buigues, 9) where you can get a town map and stroll along to Marques de Campo. This lively street is lined with open air restaurants which are nicely shaded by trees. The surrounding streets are great for shopping. A tourist train runs from the tourist information office to the castle. Check times on the noticeboard outside.

For sightseeing head up to the town hall (Ayuntamiento) building from Marques de Campo and visit the Iglesia de la Asuncion church with its fine dome. Then continue up the steps following the signs for the castle which overlooks Dénia Bay. The castle closes for lunch between: 1pm and 3pm from October to March, 1.30pm and 3.30pm in April and May, 1.30pm and 4pm in June and September and between 1.30pm and 5pm in July and August. All the old houses that surround the base of the castle have been nicely painted in different colors adding to what is already a rather atmospheric place to wander around.

From the castle make your way to El Port which consists of a line of attractive restaurants facing the port area. Most of them tend to specialize in local rice based dishes as well as Fideua which is a noodle based paella. Often paella recipes allow for large quantities of meat and seafood. Don't expect too many ingredients in these dishes at El Port where it is the rice or noodles which are key to the dish. If you'd like to try a pricey 'Menú de Degustación' (tasting menu) take a look at El Raset which is just along from the boutique hotel of the same name. Cheaper options are available.

As is the case with all the resorts in this area it is the beaches which provide the main attraction to visitors and Dénia is no exception. As you head north of of town you immediately come to some pleasantly low rise properties on glorious, quiet beaches which continue on for many kilometers along this coast. By road leaving Dénia in this direction you'll first of all come across a tastefully developed resort sector with a fine range of apartment complexes, bars and restaurants geared to an international clientele which slowly becomes more of a residential area independent of the tourist area.

For a change of scene you can easily spend a day visiting Javea just along the coast, you can head south to the multitude of theme parks which surround Benidorm and as an interesting short excursion you can head a few kilometers inland to the beautiful Las Calaveras caves at Benidoleig. Golfers will find plenty courses available around the Costa Blanca including the new development at Oliva Nova Golf Resort just outside of Dénia to the north.

Located in the north of the province of Alicante and near the border with the province of Valencia, Dénia is the capital of the Marina Alta district. Its geographical location near the cape: Cabo de San Antonio and in front of the Balearic Islands has transformed Dénia into a privileged city where the sea plays an essential role. Dénia is known as the city of good weather. With its hot summers and mild winters, people enjoy the outdoors in Dénia all year round. It's average annual temperature is almost always around 20º C. What are you looking for on your next trip? Great beaches? Beautiful mountains? Good weather? Excellent food? Vibrant night life? At Dénia you will find these and more all year around. It's beaches are located north and south of the city, and within walking distance from the city itself. To the north of the municipality you will find the following beaches: La Punta del Raset, Les Marines, Les Bovetes, Els Molins, L'Almadrava and Les Deveses. To the south of the town the coastline starts with a long sandy beach, called La Marineta Casiana, and gives way to rocky coves known as Las Rotas area.

What about the cuisine? Here you'll find a clear example of the variety and refinement of the Mediterranean diet – the best the sea can offer and the wines of the Valencian orchards. There is the famous Dénia red prawn, the rice dish known as arroz a banda, specialities such as the espencat (grilled vegetables), the suquet de peix (fish, sea urchins, dry octopus, amongst others). You will be able to enjoy all these delicious dishes and more in more than 300 restaurants in the city. The many restaurants are ranging over all price levels in Dénia, from McDonalds to the 3-star Michelin restaurant Quique Dacosta (highly recommended!).

Another fabulous option is to visit the Municipal Market at Magallanes Street where you will find fresh and first-rate products and the Fish Market at the Port.

If you like walking, there are several walking routes, which will give you the chance to discover the city and to know every monument, every quarter and every interesting corner. Furthermore, there are interesting walking routes along it's coves, walking excursions to Mount Montgó Natural Park, a car drive to the Cape of Sant Antoni or excursions which you can carry out in a sailing boat.

"Beautifully appointed accommodation and spectacular location"

Recently returned from 3 weeks in Denia. A most beautiful part of Spain which we visit every year, so we know it extremely well. First time stay in this villa and indeed our first time in Montgo. The villa is in a spectacular location, high up in the residential region of Montgo with a view to the front of Denia harbour and to the rear of Montgo. Faultlessly appointed accommodation, modern kitchen, living space, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom (with bath!). Booking the villa was easy and very efficient both before and after our stay. We were met by a local agent who also made himself available througout our stay. The pool is a really decent size and again perfectly appointed. A smashing place to stay and we hope to return again next year!

"Lovely location, peaceful & relaxing Holiday"

Had a lovely time at Casa El Rincon. From Booking through to after we returned home Peter was very helpful, and quick to respond to emails and questions. He could not have been more helpful or welcoming.

When we arrived we were welcomed by Roman who showed us around and recommend where to go and what to see. The villa itself is exactly as pictured and described and won't disappoint. It is in a residential location, and is quiet and peaceful. It was a perfect way to relax on the days we didn't want to go out and explore / go to the beach.

Would recommend, great villa, great location, great holiday!

"Perfect holiday"

We had a lovely holiday with our 11 month old baby and my parents. The villa was just perfect. The views were amazing and Peter the owner provided us with a high chair and travel cot which was great for our little girl.

The property is modern and has everything you will need for a relaxing holiday. It is a child friendly property. Our baby is just learning to walk and gets around everywhere. The open plan living area was perfect for her to explore.

We enjoyed the pool area which was very quiet. You can see the mountain behind the house when sunbathing. Spectacular views!

There are two supermarkets close by to the property and lovely restaurants in town. The beach is nearby too. You do need to have a car as it is quite a long walk back to the house.

We stayed during the festival week and saw the Bous a la Mar event. Bulls chasing people into the sea.

We all enjoyed our holiday in Denia and would definitely consider coming back!

"Wish it was our house! Loved it!"

We visited this house for a weekend in april, it was amazing! We had 5 great days by the pool enjoying the warm summer weather. We also visited the "fort", the town, the beach and the marina, among other things.
When you wake up in the morning you have the spectacular Montgo mountain on one side (it feels like it is right in your backyard) and the mediterranean sea on the other side. Amazing views all around!
The house is everything you need. It feels like a newly renovated spanish property, with a contemporary finish. A wonderful pool area and garden.
We recommend that you rent a car when you are here, because the house is situated on a hill and walking home after dinner could be a challenge ;)
We absolutley plan to go back again next year!

"Fantastic house with everything you can ask for!"

This perfect house has everything you can ask for!
The location is picture perfect right at the foot of the Montgó mountain with a breath taking view of the ocean.
The house is roomy and feels like it has been recently renovated with all new amenities.
But best of all is the private pool.
Sitting on the deck with my wife having a glass of wine while the kids where swimming in the pool was worth every penny and then some!
I can't honestly say that I didn't found anything that wasn't perfect with the house, area or service.

"Great resort with amazing views !!"

We always vacationed at hotel resorts but after checking out the possibility to rent a house, this was absolutely the right decision.

To have your own house, with plot, pool, kitchen and the whole stuff made this vacation a time to remember. With breathtaking views over the mountain El Montgo and the Mediterranean sea this was an relaxing, calm, soothing vacation. Exactly what we needed.

One negative thing about the location is that it was a bit windy on some days. But at the same time it was nice with a cooling breeze.
