About the home

Case Rosse is a spacious modern 3 bedroom villa with fantastic views of coastal Calabria and the Thyrrenian sea. Located in a small excludive development of private villas and just minutes from numerous beaches and the clear blue waters of the Thyrrenian sea, as well as friendly local restaurants, bars, pizzerias and ice cream parlours.

The Villa includes 3 double bedrooms, 2 fully fitted bathrooms (both with shower), fully fitted designer kitchen and spacious Lounge and Dining areas opening onto a covered terrace and large landscaped garden. There is also an extensive 1st floor terrace with fantastic coastal and sea views.

A peacful location Perfect for Couples and Family Holidays, the villa has a large private garden in which to soak up the sun, and is complete with bbq, terraces, sunbeds and patio furniture.

Shared amongst a small number of villas is a fantastic infinity swimming pool and children's pool with sunloungers, chairs and parasols, as well as shower facilities.

Large terraces to front and rear of property, as well as large 1st floor terrace. All with sea views. Ground floor terrace to the front is partially covered to provide shaded outdoor area.

Large Private landscaped gardens with Olive, Orange and Lemon Trees, fully fenced and safe for children to play in.

Sunbeds, patio furniture, parasols and BBQ provided.

Deposit of 25% required on confirmation of booking, balance to be paid a minimum of 8 weeks before start of holiday.

Refundable damages deposit required, returned within 14 days of completion of holiday, subject to confirmation of condition.

We are happy to accept payment in GBP or EURO by cheque (GBP only), electronic transfer, or Paypal (subject to a small cost to cover fees)

The property is on a hillside location so a car is required. There are a few small steps on the ground floor of the property between the kitchen, lounge and hallway areas.

We may also consider a house swap for another holiday home.

Calabria is the beautiful and unspoilt Southern region of Italy - one of Italy's best kept secrets. The wonderfully clear turquoise Thyrrenian sea is calm and warm, with numerous quiet beaches presenting plentiful opportunities for sunbathing and swimming.

The local residents are friendly and welcoming, allowing you to relax and enjoy your holiday in the sun.

Plentiful bars, restaurants, pizzerias and ice cream parlours offer wonderfully fresh local cuisine at fantastic prices.

The Citadella Del Capo area

Citadella Del Capo is a small coastal town, located just minutes from the Villa, with a quiet promenade, sheltered sandy beach, and a few small bars and restaurants. There are also several small and private Lido's (beach clubs) located within easy reach of the villa - perfect places to spend the day or evening.

There are numerous other picturesque small towns and villages within easy reach on the coast road such as Belvedere, Diamante and many others. Each has its own unique charm - from ancient hilltop villages to modern marinas all can be found just a short distance away.

Below are just some activities and places of interest which can be found nearby:

Take a boat trip to Isola Dino to view the caves and grotto. There is also great Scuba Diving here.

Golf - 9 hole course at the 4* Grand San Michele, approximately 1km from the villa. Club hite available

Visit the Pollino National Park - mountains, lakes, mountian biking, bird watching... located 45min drive from Case Rosse

Lamezia-Terme airport is around 1 hour's drive from Case Rosse- Direct flights from London Stanstead with Ryanair, and from London Gatwick with Monarch Airlines, in addition to charter flights from many regional airports and connecting flights from all major Italian Airports.

Naples airport is just less then 3 hours drive - direct flights from Europe and the USA. From the UK fly direct from London Stanstead (Easyjet), London Gatwick (Easyjet & British Airways), Liverpool (Easyjet), Bristol (Easyjet) & Edinburgh (Easyjet). Charter flights also available from regional airports in peak season.

Bari & Brindisi Airports are around 3 -4 hours drive also.

“A great place to stay, beautiful house, pool and views.” We stayed there for two weeks in August, the weather was great, the house was spacious and really comfortable. The kids (3 of them) really enjoyed the pool and being on a small private development it felt really safe. Everywhere was clean most of the houses are only a few years old. Quite close to the beaches with some nice bars and restaurants. Good supermarket is about 4 miles away. Close enough to Naples and Pompei to visit in the day but its better to stay over. A tip though is take a SAT NAV it makes exploring the surrounding area loads easier. All in all a great place to stay
