Hello to all those people out there that love Ireland and like to go there on holidays,, We Stayed in the most beautiful cottage from caroline cowing and her lovely family for ten days in the month of febuary this year,, We arrived on the the 19 th the day of my sons birthday and we were blown away when we saw how beautifull these cottages were,, They also had letf a card and some ballons for my son,, Which we thought was so nice,, We left to our own not hardly ever disturbed by the owners,, but my children made friends with their children ,, which we found to be so nice,, Caroline herself is and amazing woman and her and her husband have done such a great job and theses 250 year old cottages,, We will have no hesitation to come and stay there again,, the house was beautiful decorated and warm and inviting,, the surrounding area is so peacfull ,, with only country side views,, its just a stones throw away from the village so easy to get all the things you need ,, It also very child friendly,, If i myself ever wanted to come to ireland and live there i would most likely would rent this out before we found a permant place,, We actually did not want leave,, This is a great place to stay and for a very good price,, as we looked at other options and this was by far the best,, you get alot for your money,, I hope that you will contact them and have a great holiday there as we did,, yours sincerly Grace Crilly |

The cottages are lovely, with plenty of room and anything you could need or more. They're decorated with style and very cosy, plus the owners (Caroline and Paul) are very friendly and helpful ! We immediately felt like we were at home. We've been staying at Drummeenagh twice and we would be back as soon as possible. Indeed a four star accomodation ! |

This was the best holiday we have ever had. Thanks to the Cowling family, we saw all the important sights of the area, knew how to find them, and enjoyed a pub night that has stayed with us till today: music, live music, great people and atmosphere. We saw the seafront, Dublin, Belfast, old cemeteries, made great walks on hilltops and went to an oyster festival. Even our teenagers were happy! |
