From the owner

Toad Heights is situated in the village of Castara on the island of Tobago. It is a 3 bedroom house with a very large living area and spacious kitchen with all the amenities you would expect for a self-catering holiday. It is located on the hillside above our other cottage "Toad Hall".

Access is via a concrete footpath and is approximately 50 metres from the main road.

It has a very large bathroom fitted with 2 showers, one of which is heated. There is a breakfast bar between the living area and the kitchen and all counter surfaces are tiled for your convenience. There is a flat-screen TV and CCTV security system.

There are 2 downstairs bedrooms and one upstairs bedroom located in the mezzanine. All beds are protected by custom "wrap-around mosquito nets for your protection at night.

There is no air-conditioning but there are large floor fans provided for your comfort.

There is a large barbecue located to the rear of the property for your outdoor cooking needs.

There is now a new outside tiled patio suitable for outside dining and sunbathing.

The property is surrounded by fruit trees and lush vegetation and flowering shrubs.

There are several small shops close by and it is only a 7 minute stroll to the closest beach.

Castara has several restaurants within easy walking distance if you choose to eat out rather than cook at home.

Beach towels are not provided. Please be sure to bring your own.

Turn off all electric fans when leaving the property: they are a potential fire hazard.
No linen or bath towels are to be taken to the beach: it damages both the towels and our washing machine due to the sand trapped in the fibres.
Treat our staff with politeness and respect at all times and respect our property and surroundings.
No illegal drugs are to be consumed on our premises and no loud parties and excessive noise late at night.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stephen (the owner) a message.

If Stephen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
