From the owner

Casa Del Rio is a riverfront, luxuriously appointed vacation home, that feels more like a tropical resort. The water views are stunning and unparalleled. It is situated on a huge lot overlooking the massive Caloosahatchee river and expansive bridge connecting Cape Coral to Ft Myers. It has 80 ft of seawall right on the river and its own private heated pool and dock.

It has been recently remodeled and boasts many upgraded amenities as well as water / pool views from almost every room. The back wall of the house is entirely composed of large sliding glass doors with access to the pool and can be opened bringing the outdoors inside. In addition, there is a large sun deck overlooking both the pool and dock, perfect for sunbathing or dining al fresco while watching the sunset light up the water.

The kitchen has Corian countertops, with all new stainless steel appliances, including a gourmet wall oven and cooktop. There is plenty of counter / bar space for buffet style meals and entertaining. In addition, there is a separate dining area overlooking the pool and river.

Right off the kitchen is pub style bar area also overlooking the pool and river which has bar furniture that can used indoors or out. There is even a wine fridge next to the bar where you can bring and store your own vintage or bubbly.

One of the bedrooms is a master suite with its own en suite bath. The large master bath is extremely luxurious with a 4 foot glassed in shower and elegant double vanity. The other two guest bedrooms are spacious and located conveniently adjacent to the guest bath.

The river and pool can be seen from all living areas of the house. The living room has comfy sofas, one of which pulls out for guests not wishing to sleep together. There are 3 Flat Screen TVs, cable, and wifi for indoor entertainment. You can watch the game or entertain in the bar area, while the kids watch movies in the living room, without being interrupted.

The patio area by the pool includes lounge chairs for relaxing as well as wicker chairs and a sitting area for congregating.

There is a large sundeck on the bank of the river with plenty of space for relaxing or entertaining. There is a Kitchen Aid 4 burner stainless steel built in BBQ and sink for some serious grilling while enjoying those amazing views.

The dock has a 12,000 pound lift and can easily store even a very large boat, if you choose to bring or rent one. It has direct river and gulf access within easy reach of local beaches and watering holes on Sanibel Island, Ft. Myers Beach, Pine Island, Captiva, Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa, etc.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
