This bright and airy second floor South facing apartment of 55 metres squared is within one of the protected small original buildings of Old Cannes. Nestled in among shops and the famous restaurants in the Rue Felix Faure it enjoys open views over the shady square where the daily flower market, weekly antique dealers and Artists set up their stalls.
Beyond the square you enjoy views onto the ‘Old port’ and the ‘Suquet’ (the hillside on which the picturesque Old town of Cannes elegantly lays) to your left, just 180 metres away is the ‘Palais de Festival’ where all the conferences and most of the festivals take place. The apartment has a rare private terrace of 12 metres squared, being south facing, you can sit and relax on it all day, even in winter !

The duplex apartment has a simple but functional American Kitchen/living room. The bedroom & 'wetroom' bathroom with WC are reached via a spiral staircase. It is clean, tidy and uncluttered inside yet has everything you will need (and probably more) for your break.
Reversible air conditioning, treble glazing, roller shutters.
TV, DVD & CD player with a range of DVD's & CDs
Double or 2 single beds as preferred, starlight ceiling. Quality double Sofa bed in lounge.
Intercom telephone access. Parking can be arranged.

Conditions
* 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. The full balance to be paid 6 weeks
prior to your holiday.
* A refundable 200 Euro (or Sterling equivalent) deposit to be lodged with us upon arrival against
accidental breakages or damage.
* A supplement of 15 euros per night is required for more than two adults letting.
* We advise guests to take out appropriate insurance cover 'just in case' you are forced to cancel your break.
* We recommend that you also insure all your personal belongings during your holiday wherever you may visit.
* It is expected that the apartment would be left in a clean condition.
* A midway clean of the apartment is mandatory during rental periods of greater than 14 nights.
* Meet & greet arrival :- To ensure top quality and worry free arrival of all guests,
upon departure 62 euro is asked for > Meet & greet reception, key handovers, linen, cleaning
and checking out etc.
* Unless permission is granted at the time of booking, sub letting is strictly forbidden.
* During low season heating is non-inclusive.
* Other than the above items there are no other extra charges you need to budget for.
* During your stay you will be left to your own devices, but should you need any assistance
during your break we are available.

The Cannes / Old Port - Rue Felix Faure area
I would simply run out of screen if I began to even try to sum up the riches diversity and beauty of Cannes. Most people will have already heard about Cannes and its allure. I’ve been in the region for over 20 years and still find Cannes a magical town with a unique atmosphere. But here’s a taste anyway !
Annually Cannes offers so many events, festivals and activities for virtually every taste and budget. Just in close proximity to the apartment you will discover; Boat trips to the isles off Cannes and to St Tropez 160m (Metres). Casino, (170m) Day/night Fishing, boat hire and water sports (78m). Food from every corner of the world (From 10m). Shops, Rue Meynadier 40m. Cinema, (195m) various local markets ‘Le Marche Fortville’ 95m. ‘Musee de la Castre’ exhibiting varied Mediterranean art, ceramics and artefacts can be found in the twisty streets and passageways of the old town (145m) not forgetting the gorgeous soft sandy beach (190m) and magnificent coastline.

By Air :- Fly to Nice: At Nice Airport take the 'Airport Shuttle' which run every half hour, arrive direct in Cannes centre 'Hotel de Ville' (Town hall). The apartment is now just 45 meters away. No other busses etc needed.
We can also meet you at Nice airport and take you directly to your door.
By Car:- Exit the A8 Autoroute at junction 42. Follow directions for the 'Centre Ville', then 'veiux port'. The apartment is 3.4Km from the autoroute exit and a straight through run.
By Train:- From the station the apartment is 480m away.

Small apartment but enough for 3 people. Bedroom upstair is really great with views, big windows and blue star like lights on ceiling which makes the place look like the sky. Very nice at night. Bathroom is great. Balcony with awning fantastic for breakfasts and lunches. Very central to shopping and beaches. Can walk everywhere. Kitchen needs some work and a new washing machine. Very friendly welcome. Just love the place. Gets very noisy at night due to restaurants just below the apartment but we didnot mind as we did not stay there for sleep. Felt part of the nightlife even while lounging on the balcony. Make sure you visit le Suquet and the market. great fresh products, lots of smiles. All I can say that in 7 years of packed rentals we have never received one complaint or comment on noise levels, of course the apartment is in the epicentre of Cannes, it is impossible for us to provide one without the other. I appreciate it was pre-organised that you were not going to sleep at the apartment, but with friends, however, once inside with the windows closed then all street noise is completely lost. We regularly welcome 4 guests, again without comment, I can only assume 3 people on tour for 6 weeks with all your luggage and accumulated gifts etc would have limited your floor space. |

l love Cannes and the location of this apartment is super.Forte Ville is around the corner,shops and restaurants on your doorstep and the bus to the airport is a stone throw from the front door!l would highly recommend it. |

Everything about this jewel of an apartment is fantastic! This was our fourth visit and it just keeps getting better. You don't need a car as the airport bus drops you practically at the door. The transport links in Cannes are fantastic - bus to Nice outside the door, train to Monaco or Italy 10 minutes walk away and a boat to the Isles de Lerins 5 minutes away. The apartment is superb - lovely wee kitchen, great lounge/dining room and stunning bathroom, where you can shower overlooking the Bay of Cannes. The biggest plus for us, however, is the balcony! A large space with views of the bay, the Palais de Congres and the old town. This has to be the best ever spot for people watching. Fantastic restaurants everywhere - our favourite is the Maitre Reynard in the old town. The welcome you receive from Tim and his team is second to none. can't recommend this apartment highly enough. |
