In an old tower house located in the Bosa’s historical town, just off the Malaspina Castle in a quiet and unique area, about 2 Km from the sea, is a big and beautiful house. It is fully furnished with 3 bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin) 3 bathrooms, kitchen and living room. On the top the house has also two big balcony with an amazing view.

Bosa / Bosa Centre area

Bosa is a charming town set on the Temo river valley near the sea overlooked by the Serravalle Castle, from where the houses of the Medieval centre develop descending to the Temo river bank. Bosa is the only river side town in the whole of Sardinia.

A more recent area is Bosa Marina, the extension of the town on the coast. Bosa Marina beach is a long and deep stretch of sand and is very well served with all tourist facilities, pedalo and rubber dinghy hire, jet-ski and even a windsurfing club. There are also many bars on and off the beach, hotels and lovely restaurants where to enjoy the local cuisine based on fish and seafood accompanied by a glass of the Malvasia, Bosa’s lovely wine .

How to get there

40 km south of Alghero Airport (40 minutes).

Low cost flights every day to Alghero with Ryanair from/ to Dublin, London Std, Liverpool, East Midlands, Bologna or from/to Italy with AirOne.
Public bus from Alghero to Bosa every day or rent a car in Alghero’s airport.

Long sandy beach 2 km away. It takes no time to drive there, about 1/2 hour to walk. There is also a small bus that takes people over from the centre. Other beautiful beaches up and down the coast, either sandy or rocky. The water is extremely clean and clear and great for snorkelling. There is a local scuba diving school and boats to hire for the day can also be arranged. Beach umbrella provided.

House is in the old town, within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and market. Car parking nearby and free.

Crossing over to the East coast takes around two hours. Inland there are beautiful mountains and small towns, this is about 1 1/2 hours drive.

Golf course is 40 min. from Bosa - www.isarenas.it (driving range,executive course 3 holes par 9, main course 18 holes par 72)

Further details

Flights to Alghero from Stansted, Liverpool, East Midlands and Dublin. Alghero is 40km away from Bosa. You travel south along the coast road, with spectacular views all the way.

Car hire is highly recommended, as there is lots of exploring to be done. There are many car hire companies to choose from, including all the big firms at Alghero Airport. However, we can arrange for a Taxi to pick you up from the airport in Alghero and return.

Other flights going to Cagliari (3 hours) or Olbia (2 hours) are an alternative.

By boat from France, Spain and Italy arriving at Porto Torres, which is about 1 1/2 hours drive.
