House / 3 bedrooms / sleeps 6
Located right in Bosa's historical downtown, just off the Malaspina Castle in a quiet and unique area, about 1 Km from the sea, a spacious and beautiful house is built in an old tower with 3 floors in 240 sqm. It is fully furnished with 3 bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin) 3 bathrooms with shower, kitchen and living room. On top of the house there are two big terraces with amazing views.
The main old square is 5 minutes walking distance as well as all facilities.
Rooms are nicely furnished and conserve intact the original decorated pavements and walls.
The Tower House has been recently renewed with style, keeping the original beautiful internal shapes and decorations. We only received great and positive comments from our guests.
A few words about the climate: in summer time, due to the dry weather, temperatures are rarely perceived as too hot, moreover, the air is also cooled by the breeze coming from the sea. We do not have air conditioning ourselves and do not miss it. As a matter of fact the house itself, as it is built and from the position it is located, dissipates the heat during the day. In the evenings and at night it cools down anyway, so it can't be wrong to bring a cardigan.

The Sardinia region
Sardinia is an island immersed in the Mediterranean sea. It is a wonderful and captivating island for those whose visit is motivated by its medieval churches, extraordinary scenery and nuraghe; for those with a passion for hunting, fishing, hiking, or horseback-riding; for individuals interested in visiting its Phoenician, Punic and Roman historical testimonials or satisfying their curiosity on subjects concerning geology, nature and mineralogy, and finally, for those who are interested in its genuine folklore and celebrations, it has many beaches and coastlines, sudden gorges and hidden grottoes.
Bosa is a charming town set on the Temo river valley near the sea overlooked by the Serravalle Castle, from where the houses of the Medieval centre develop descending to the Temo river bank. Bosa is the only river side town in the whole of Sardinia.
A more recent area is Bosa Marina, the extension of the town on the coast. Bosa Marina beach is a long and deep stretch of sand and is very well served with all tourist facilities, tennis club, pedalo and rubber dinghy hire, jet-ski and even a windsurfing club. There are also many bars on and off the beach, hotels and lovely restaurants where to enjoy the local cuisine based on fish and seafood accompanied by a glass of the Malvasia, Bosa's lovely wine .

"Fantastic house in a beautiful old town."
We really enjoyed our holiday in this stone house with lots of steps.
It is comfortable and cool and the roof terrace is a lovely place to sit in the cool breeze looking out over the fabulous old roof tops and down to the river. The town is just a ten minute walk away and has a selection of small shops and a little supermarket selling everything you need.
The local beach at Bosa Marina was busy, but lovely with clear, clean sea and opportunities for all sorts of water sports. We explored other local beaches which were all lovely. We hired canoes on the river and spent a lovely hour paddling upstream.
I would recommend this house for a real taste of Sardinia living in such history.

The house is spacious and lies amidst the historical center of Bosa which made us feel like true Italians. The house was tastfully decorated and this gave it a wonderful atmosphere! We had a great time!

"Comfortable, clean, spacious, great view."
We stayed a week in May 2012 and had a great time in Bosa. The house is clean and spacious, beds comfortable and you can see the whole city from the terrace and the solarium. The owner has good English and is friendly and helpful. And it was good value too.
