About the Borgo:
Situated in the heart of the historic centre. Prestigious villas immersed in a green oasis, facing the hills of Asolo, surrounded by history and culture. Four towers dedicated to poets and artists that lived in and loved Asolo surround a romantic little square where you will experience moments of pure pleasure. These homes have been built using modern technologies and traditional materials: stone, wood, cotto clay and wrought iron. Homes full of light, of various sizes, superbly finished, featuring private gardens and garages..
For decades, this area housed the famous Mons. Filippin School, a prestigious teaching institute founded in the Fifties, of which just one abandoned building remained. After five years of painstaking architectural, environmental and landscape design and recovery the construction has completed.

The North East Italy / Veneto region

Of course you have to visit the most romantic city in the world, Venice! While you're in the area, why not spend some time visiting the rest of the region. In a radius of a few hours from Venice there are beaches, lakes, castles, cities of art, nature parks, villas, and mountainous areas.
For example, you can visit the city of Romeo & Juliet, explore the origins of Prosecco wine or go skiing in Cortina.
The beautiful villa di Maser (Villa Barbaro) of Andrea Palladio is less than 15 minutes (by car)away.
The Asolo area
Asolo is a romantic little city, located at the foot of Monte Grappa, with a perfectly preserved historic old city. Every second Sunday of the month there is an antique market in the center and once a year, a film and music festival held. Venice, Padua and Vicenza are one hour away by car, to Verona it takes you 1.5 hours. To Valdobbiadene, home of Prosecco, it is only a few kilometers. Very near is the 'Villa Maser' designed by the architect Palladio and Possagno, known for the sculptor Canova. Sport fans will find the Golf Club of Asolo, possibilities of paragliding on Monte Grappa, Brenta river rafting, horseback riding and many other opportunities such as mountain biking or just long walks. The apartment is located in the center of Asolo, a pleasant stroll from the town hall. The immediate area offers numerous restaurants.

Guestbook for Asolo Casa Bembo
Short but very sweet stay in Asolo
Alison, England
September 2011
Thank you, Ezio and Caroline, for a short but very sweet stay in Asolo.
The apartment is pristine and, coming from someone who is quite particular about these things, that is a real compliment! You really have thought of every detail and I will definitely give you a score of five out of five!
But most of all, we will remember you both and how you went out of your way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. It was that kindness that brought our stay to life and made it so memorable.
My only regret is that we didn't make the picturesque Asolo our base for a whole week. It's a great location and there is so much to see round about.

I am very wary of ostensibly unsolicited recommendations which are so often unrepresentative of a disappointing reality.
However -
Caroline and Enzio are warm and unselfishly welcoming. The apartment is clean, attractively decorated and extremely well equipped; we lacked for nothing. The beds were comfortable and the linen immaculate.
The patio in the front catches the morning sun and the rear terrace with its shaded seating and vine covered arbour overlooking lovely views, provides welcome refuge after a day exploring the cities, towns and countryside in the area. We were made very welcome and Enzio was determined we should help ourselves to tomatoes from his garden, just below the terrace. How sad we could stay only three days.
The apartment is a convenient stroll from the centre of this beautiful village and its cafes, (pricey) shops and restaurants. Our sole disappointment was the pasta we ordered at the local Pizzaria - we should have known better, their Pizza was fine!
Please take time to explore the local countryside and the hills behind Asolo. Driving on the main roads, frequently crowded with enthusistic and colourful athletic cyclists, was never entirely a pleasure, but get into the countryside and the roads - and the people - are a constant pleasure.
I cannot believe we shall not return - and if we do - I have no doubt we shall return to this apartment.
One last note, the address is slightly confusing as the Borgo is behind the street, accessed through a small entrance just opposite the splendid gates of the Hotel Cipriano garden.
Enjoy your stay - we did.
Charming Home in Asolo

We spent almost a week in this lovely property and did not want to leave! Caroline and Ezio were so thoughtful and attentive and really helped to make the transition from the US to Italy much easier. The apartment is spotless and has all of the amenities of home which was very nice for us as we did alot of cooking while there. The location is superb, within easy walking distance to all that Asolo has to offer and a good spot for days trips to Venice, Mount Grappa, Prosecco Road etc.
The view from the terrace is beautiful and really embodies what being in the hills of Asolo is all about. We would highly recommend this property and sincerely hope we can return again.

Perfect place for relaxing and unwinding

This well-outfitted and beautifully-situated apartment was perfect for our stay in Asolo.
We alternated between eating and lounging on the lovely terrace, taking short walks into town for a meal or
"spritz con Aperol," and driving to sights in nearby towns (Villa Barbaro, a Palladian villa with frescoes by Veronese was especially interesting).
Caroline was very accommodating to our travel schedule and a great help as we planned our trip from Venice to Asolo. She and her husband, Ezio, also offered a warm welcome and a thorough introduction to the apartment. We especially appreciated the assortment of delicious goodies they provided for cooking a meal upon arrival and for preparing breakfasts on the following days.
We will heartily recommend Casa Bembo to our friends.
