“Spacious villa enticing you to explore every opportunity that Culebra offers” I miss most my morning coffee from the outdoor kitchen overlooking the glistening bay, thinking what the day would hold for me. The villa is laid out perfectly. My wife and I had the master BR with bathroom ensuite, two daughters had their own bedrooms, and our son his own completely seperate apartment with his girlfriend. The open plan kitchen spilling into the grand living area was exactly what you would want to use to cook, serve and enjoy the family. The indor/ outdoor flow is ideal as it allows easy use of a great deal of space, views and 5 hammocks all in sun and shade. We had Chef Carlos cook for us in the outdoor kitchen and we ate on the large patio - a very memorable experience! Geographically, the villa is ideally located. Very close to the center of town but far enough removed to negate all traffic and bar noise. You are situated at the end of a long remote driveway. As the 6 beautiful beaches we saw are scattered along the periphery of the island, the central location was key, never more than a 20 minute ride to any of them - in a slow golf cart. The water access is wonderful, kayaking and swimming are right at your dock. Also, along the driveway, at another dock, is Captain Bill's catamaran. For an over-the-top experience try his Day Tour, We all had an unbelievable adventure on the island but we saved his excursion for our last day, As I said, over-the-top! Gracias Bill. We were lucky enough to meet Alex, the gracious owner. He is a memorable character full of useful recommendations, notes and advice.His company was enjoyed by my whole family. He is iconic on the island, and his name and Villa do generate you some swag. Most importantly, before, during and after our stay he was very prompt with returning calls to assure a most pleasant stay. He returned my wife's call almost immediately to inquire about art for sale on the island. He called to advise us on the night of the "Super Moon' to be sure not to miss. We saw and compared many places on the island during the week we stayed. For a larger party this Villa is hands-down the best place to stay. Enjoy!.

“Awesome” Stayed here to celebrate my first anniversary. Lovely lovely home. Less than a minute walk to the beach. The house is in a beautiful gated community with private access to the beach. The contact the owner uses in Pr was very friendly and her directions to the house were spot on she met us on arrival at the car rental place and made herself available if we needed anything. Luann made the rental process very simple and was a joy to work with. The photos shown on here we're spot on, but the in person view is even better.. My husband and I have already planned our return trip to Yabucoa

“Little pice of heaven” My husband and I stayed here one week ago. Lynora (the owner) was really nice and helpful. I loved the place. I fell in love with the view of the ocean, and the condo itself made me feel relaxed with the decorations and the set up. We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony. Look for a binder with information on the condo. If you visit take some time to read. I found a lot of helpful information there and please read the directions, to make the water hot (there is a red switch in the kitchen) :) All I have to say is that yes...this place is a little piece of heaven. I am so thankful that God gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty that he created for us. Thank you Lynora.

“Great stay!” The apartment was really nice and very clean. It had an excellent location. The beach was very beautiful but a little windy. Still, there are many great beaches nearby. The owner was always very helpful all the time. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay again.

“Perfection” This was our second visit to Vieques, but our first time in this house. We will never stay anywhere else. This house is absolutely amazing! It's roomy and cozy, and it's literally right on the beach. I loved going to sleep and then waking up to the sounds of the ocean (and dogs barking) ?. For me, it's perfection. There were four adults for this trip, and we all loved it. We loved the spacious backyard (where we ate fresh coconut from the trees in the backyard), the pool, the various amenities, everything! For the price, this place cannot be beat. As far as the island, well I can hardly begin to describe it. It's paradise. But if you're looking for resort style living, Vieques is not the place. It's raw and non-commercial, but that's what we love about it. The beaches are beautiful and nearly empty, the snorkeling is awesome, the food is great, and the island vibe is strong. The roads need some work, but driving on them was fun and adventurous. Make sure you rent a Jeep or something. Some of the roads to the beaches are, uh, challenging. Overall, it's a place you just have to discover and explore on your own.

“Marvelous, experience, pool,beach, shopping stores, we had it al” Great service, the owners have a lot of experience on renting. The apartment is very consfortable, washer and dryer, flat screen TV, generator in case a black out, etc. Have all the amenities you need, very close. What I liked best, the beach, what liked least, no maid.

“Home away from Home!” The apartment was amazing! It was everything the description said it was and more! Madelin made the experience even more enjoyable by meeting us and patiently waiting for our rental car and leading us to the apartment. They left some food in the apartment so we didn't starve our first night and left an amazing list of local places to eat! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to rent for a getaway in Puerto Rico!

“Wonder stay in Puerto Rico” Such a great relaxing time. Just loved being right on the beach. Located on the third floor - the elevator was a big help with mom being 83 this year. View from the balcony is fabulous with four chairs and small cocktail tables. Very comfortable rooms - kitchen is more than complete with everything you have in your own kitchen and more. Gave mom the bedroom and she slept with the big window open all night with the ocean air and sounds. We took the futon in the living room which is right in front of the patio door - so we kept it open all night to hear the pound of the ocean. The bathroom is off the bedroom - clean with a bathtub and shower. All shopping and restaurants are within walking distance - which was great with taking my mom with us. We had such a fabulous time. Rented a car for two days. Did some sight seeing in Old San Juan - took a trip to the Rain Forest - Drove out to the scenic route for some roast pig. I must say - they really know how to do food in Puerto Rico. The only bad part about our trip was the traffic and the crazy drivers - every car on the road had some kind of dent. We just love the owner of this condo - he is so helpful. I think I called him with questions at least 4 times before we left for vacation and twice while we were there. Mostly to ask him about how to get around in Puerto Rico. Great person. We can't wait to go back. The weather was perfect - the ocean was exciting and warm and the condo was relaxing - we spent several days just sitting on the patio after walking the beach. This is the one to choose if you want a wonderful time.

“The best getaway/hideout ever!” My wife and I have been to Vieques many times, but until now have not found a house that we would want to rent twice. Casa angular is stunning, and really is as shown in the photos on this website. It is remote, secluded, private, yet only a ten minute drive from Esperanza, on of the two town centers on the island. The house is very well-appointed with high quality furnishings, appliances, and kitchen equipment. The house itself is well laid out architecturally, but it is the attractiveness of the furnishings that made it so comfortable. The owners have put a lot of care into their decorating choices. The integrated pool is stunning and will have you debating whether to bother exploring beaches or to just stay at the house and enjoy your own private space. We also found Colleen, Casa angular's property manager, very pleasant and responsive as is the house's owner. They both did all they could to make our stay relaxing and problem-free. If you haven't guessed already, we really enjoyed our stay and are already plotting our return next winter. The house is best for one or two couples, or for a family of four.
