“Excellent apartment great owners” This is an outstanding apartment on the ground floor pool level with every possible piece of equipment you could require for your holiday especially if you are travelling with children and wish to cook,which we didn't but it is nice to have the option.apartment is furnished to a high standard and very well maintained and spotlessly clean,great selection of books games etc available and most important it now has its own wifi free to you and very high speed.fantastic owners with great communication.if booking this from uk I would suggest making your deposit payment via the post office if you pay a little more the transaction is free compared to the £25 fee charged by the bank.this is a lovely complex,very helpful staff,great pools and food at the poolside bar is nice.there is a strict no ball sign etc at this complex which unfortunately the lifeguard doesn't enforce which resulted in my little boy getting hit by a large ball being played with by an adult which was a bit of a pain throughout the holiday but we just picked a different time of day to go to pool.all the complex is wheelchair accessible with lifts and ramps but when you do go out onto the street you have a steep hill going both up and down for a short distance.we found some great restaurants,down along the beach front at the far end is El Puerto I would definitely recommend it for breakfast/lunch or dinner,staff are so lovely and nothing is a problem,also if you go up the hill and go over the junction towards laguna 1 there is a little strip of restaurants and here we ate in Victoria's again great food and staff and it has a great selection on the menu inc the 3course for €8.75.we usually ended up in The fiddler bar at night were you will be well looked after by the lovely Georgina and Wendy. The Sloop well that's a different story-pleasant staff but oh dear it is a pain especially when they start there very poor singing at 3pm a couple of days a week,little tip is to just go out at that time,it does go on a bit rowdy at weekend and considering there seemed to be only about 8 in it,but I definitely wouldn't let this put me off returning to this lovely complex and apartment,thank you Anya and Helga

“Wow! Amazing villa, perfect stay” The villa was booked for 4 us of (2 adults and 2 teenagers) for a week. Jennifer was helpful and attentive, communicating with us before our holiday with information, making sure that someone was there to meet us and show us around, helping us with ideas on places to eat and finally very kindly organising an early morning taxi to take us to the airport when we left. The villa its self is amazing, the pool and the outdoor areas were clean, well equipped and welcoming. There was even sun bed towels for us to use. We made use of the BBQ almost every day and it was lovely to have a dishwasher in the very well equipped kitchen. The beautifully decorated lounge (with huge TV, lots of DVD's books, board games to use) was perfect after a days walking or swimming. The bedrooms were comfortable and extra bedding was available along with fans if it got too hot. Nothing was missed to make our stay perfect. The games room was fabulous and we spent a couple of evening playing pool and darts - perfect for teenagers (and adults!) The surrounding area is quiet - which we loved - but nothing was more than a short walk away (supermarket/taxi rank/restaurant/bus stop) and we made the most of being able to hop on the Titsa buses to head to the beach/Los Christanos etc which was a mere €6 for 4 of us each way - so cheap and easy and reliable too. We even took the Titsa bus to Teide for the day - again a total bargain and buses easy to use. We will be returning to Villa Zen as I cannot think of anywhere else in Costa Adeje I'd rather stay. A perfect base to explore that part of the island from.

“Fabulous family villa, in a lovely location” Just returned from this lovely family villa after spending 10 nights with my husband, step son and members of my family (7 of us in total). This is a delightful villa with fabulous outdoor space for sunbathing, dining and the views over the ocean/sunset are stunning! The bedroom configuration worked OK for us, the only thing that was disappointing with the rooms was only air-conditioning in the master bedroom and not the others. The facilities for cooking and entertaining are excellent, we used the stone BBQ several times, a must visit to the Meat Boutique (5 mins walk) for delicious sausage, burgers and steaks! We had a few concerns on arrival, pool was a little dirty, outdoor shower not working, cushions missing from the outdoor seating area, but Carien the owner was very responsive and arranged for these things to be sorted very quickly. The property was very clean with plenty of towels and of course the bonus of a washing machine. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather with clear skies and temperatures of over 25 degrees each day. I would say a car is essential for trips to the supermarket and into the resorts, it's quite a walk uphill! Taxis into Fanabe, Del Duque only around 5euros and around 10-12euros into Las Americas/Los Cristianos. My review is 4 stars and not 5 and that's only to reflect 2 things, the lack of air-conditioning throughout the property (only master bedroom and lounge) and the property is a little tired and could use some freshening up - would that stop me booking again, absolutely not this really is a fabulous villa for a lovely family holiday! Thank you.
