“Wonderful Villa - perfect location” Having rented villas in previous years for our family of 7 adults & 5 children (ranging in age from 6 to 68) and preferring not to rent cars whilst on holiday, we found that most villas - despite saying car was not essential - were only near a handful of amenities, so wow what a great position this villa is in, a couple of minutes walk from a small supermarket within the exclusive Plaza del Duque shopping centre and only a little further to the beach and loads of restaurants and entertainment. Security wise it is brilliant as there is no access at the front and a private code operated gated road to the only entrance at the back.
As it was peak season & the temperature was in the mid to high 30's we did not stray far from the villa during the day, apart from a few trips to the beach. The pool was great (plenty of toys and inflatables) and sun loungers very comfortable, with 4 parasols and a shade over the outside dining table. Children and adults made much use of the table tennis table both in the heat of the day and evening, likewise our boys used the little football area despite the heat (6 footballs lost in total 4 at the front and 2 at the back) but well worth it for the fun!!
Accommodation wise - we were three families plus grandma & grandad and each family had plenty of space on each of the three floors, with the air con being very efficient (non in the lower floor lounge but not too bad) and it was in the lower floor bedroom.
Bathroom towels were waiting for us and there were a few pool towels but not as many as we thought there would be from previous reviews, so glad we took some of our own.
Kitchen was lovely with quality appliances and large fridge-freezer (small fridge also on bottom floor), so we could keep a supply of cold drinks ready to transfer into the main fridge. Lounge very comfortable and loved how it was straight out to the pool.
We ate out every night and a number of restaurants along Fanabe beach offered 3 course meals for just under 9 euros, and we were surprised by the choice & quality of them, we found Trip Adviser reviews were generally accurate. Being 12 of us we found that whilst the small nearby supermarket was fine for everyday items like bread, milk etc it was quite expensive (as is usual) and did not stock everything we needed. Mercadona supermarket is only about 4 euros in a taxi but we registered online before we went on holiday and put in 3 online orders during our 2 week stay and they will deliver for just over 7 euros, with prices much lower.
Walking from the Villa, within a couple of minutes you can turn right to Playa del Duque beach (small but really nice, though sunbeds expensive) and we were a bit concerned with the rough sea and current which knocked the children over. Go left and down the steps and it is a really pleasant walk with great views round to Fanabe beach. We preferred this as during the day the sea appeared safer and cafes for drinks & snacks were handy and in the evening the entertainment and restaurants were in this area.
After 2 weeks we were not ready to go home but unfortunately we had to. Although we did not see Valery, we did send a few e-mails about minor matters and he dealt with them promptly. He was also very obliging in allowing us a later check out time (use of lounge, kitchen and pool area for an extra couple of hours) as we had a late flight - although bear in mind this will not always be possible if the next people are checking in as soon as they are allowed, as cleaning has to be done. The information we received from him before the holiday regarding all aspects of the villa was clear and detailed and codes, keys etc were exactly as advised.
Thank you Valery for the use of your fantastic villa - we will be back.
“Excellent apartment great owners” This is an outstanding apartment on the ground floor pool level with every possible piece of equipment you could require for your holiday especially if you are travelling with children and wish to cook, which we didn't but it is nice to have the option.apartment is furnished to a high standard and very well maintained and spotlessly clean, great selection of books games etc available and most important it now has its own wifi free to you and very high speed.fantastic owners with great communication.if booking this from uk I would suggest making your deposit payment via the post office if you pay a little more the transaction is free compared to the £25 fee charged by the bank.this is a lovely complex, very helpful staff, great pools and food at the poolside bar is nice.there is a strict no ball sign etc at this complex which unfortunately the lifeguard doesn't enforce which resulted in my little boy getting hit by a large ball being played with by an adult which was a bit of a pain throughout the holiday but we just picked a different time of day to go to pool.all the complex is wheelchair accessible with lifts and ramps but when you do go out onto the street you have a steep hill going both up and down for a short distance.we found some great restaurants, down along the beach front at the far end is El Puerto I would definitely recommend it for breakfast/lunch or dinner, staff are so lovely and nothing is a problem, also if you go up the hill and go over the junction towards laguna 1 there is a little strip of restaurants and here we ate in Victoria's again great food and staff and it has a great selection on the menu inc the 3course for €8.75.we usually ended up in The fiddler bar at night were you will be well looked after by the lovely Georgina and Wendy. The Sloop well that's a different story-pleasant staff but oh dear it is a pain especially when they start there very poor singing at 3pm a couple of days a week, little tip is to just go out at that time,it does go on a bit rowdy at weekend and considering there seemed to be only about 8 in it,but I definitely wouldn't let this put me off returning to this lovely complex and apartment, thank you Anya and Helga
“everything you need” brill apt having two balcony,s had a slight problem with the safe but one phone call and it soon sorted excellent service Every thing in the apt you could need. Close to the beach and resturants

The studio apartment we stayed in was comfortable and well equipped it was very quiet and would suit older couples I would not recommend it for children. The downfalls is the bathroom its very dated and in need 0f a refurb especially the shower which is very small.the other downfall is the few sunbeds that is there are mostly broken and very uncomfortable needs new ones. we would stay there again especially if our recommendations are made. …

La Pinta beach- 200m, TERRACE, HEATED POOL, WiFi FREE
Lovely apt. spacious with all amenities that you require.
A couple of down sides
1. there was only 1 sunbed on the patio
2. Overlooking private garden!! It was a very tall metal mesh panels with barded wire all over it and some type of flowering creepers growing up this and on the earth nothing had been done for quite some time as it was overgrown with weeds, pieces of all types of huge leaves everywhere. It really spoilt the outlook. …

Corner house in Costa Adeje
Stayed here with my wife and two sons both in their 30’s for a week in March. Fantastic house, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with lovely views from the two balconies.Very clean and comfortable.
Two absolutely spotless pools form part of the complex.
Located high up above Costa Adeje but only a 20 minute walk to the front. Taxi return costs between 4 and 5 Euros.
The owner Pablo was a perfect host there to meet and greet us on arrival and show us round and was always available should we have needed him.
Will definitely stay again. …
Apartmento Park Royal 1 bedroom
Nice apartment but.....
This is a lovely clean modern apartment in a fantastic location facing the sea and close to all the facilities of Costa Adeje. The terrace is quite large and gets the afternoon sun. What really bothered us were the extra charges being made for things given free of charge when we have booked through Holiday Lettings before. There was a charge of 10 euros per hour if you want to check in before 5pm or check out after 11am. If you have a late flight and want to check in after 9pm. they charge 50 euros extra. Don't bother paying the extra 40 euros for the internet - there is free wifi in the reception area downstairs. In the "welcome pack", the first thing you read is a list of charges if you break anything including a plate or glass. Not really a very welcoming start!
On a more positive note, the pool area is lovely and was never busy when we were there - possibly because this is a residential block so not everyone is on holiday. There are many restaurants to visit in the area all within easy walking distance - the Chateaubriand at Hawai is to die for.
The complex itself is quiet but you can hear traffic from the road particularly from the bedroom so this apartment may not be for light sleepers. The air conditioning is a mobile plug in unit which is very noisy so not ideal to use at night time. …
