“Wonderful Villa - perfect location” Having rented villas in previous years for our family of 7 adults & 5 children (ranging in age from 6 to 68) and preferring not to rent cars whilst on holiday, we found that most villas - despite saying car was not essential - were only near a handful of amenities, so wow what a great position this villa is in, a couple of minutes walk from a small supermarket within the exclusive Plaza del Duque shopping centre and only a little further to the beach and loads of restaurants and entertainment. Security wise it is brilliant as there is no access at the front and a private code operated gated road to the only entrance at the back.
As it was peak season & the temperature was in the mid to high 30's we did not stray far from the villa during the day, apart from a few trips to the beach. The pool was great (plenty of toys and inflatables) and sun loungers very comfortable, with 4 parasols and a shade over the outside dining table. Children and adults made much use of the table tennis table both in the heat of the day and evening, likewise our boys used the little football area despite the heat (6 footballs lost in total 4 at the front and 2 at the back) but well worth it for the fun!!
Accommodation wise - we were three families plus grandma & grandad and each family had plenty of space on each of the three floors, with the air con being very efficient (non in the lower floor lounge but not too bad) and it was in the lower floor bedroom.
Bathroom towels were waiting for us and there were a few pool towels but not as many as we thought there would be from previous reviews, so glad we took some of our own.
Kitchen was lovely with quality appliances and large fridge-freezer (small fridge also on bottom floor), so we could keep a supply of cold drinks ready to transfer into the main fridge. Lounge very comfortable and loved how it was straight out to the pool.
We ate out every night and a number of restaurants along Fanabe beach offered 3 course meals for just under 9 euros, and we were surprised by the choice & quality of them, we found Trip Adviser reviews were generally accurate. Being 12 of us we found that whilst the small nearby supermarket was fine for everyday items like bread, milk etc it was quite expensive (as is usual) and did not stock everything we needed. Mercadona supermarket is only about 4 euros in a taxi but we registered online before we went on holiday and put in 3 online orders during our 2 week stay and they will deliver for just over 7 euros, with prices much lower.
Walking from the Villa, within a couple of minutes you can turn right to Playa del Duque beach (small but really nice, though sunbeds expensive) and we were a bit concerned with the rough sea and current which knocked the children over. Go left and down the steps and it is a really pleasant walk with great views round to Fanabe beach. We preferred this as during the day the sea appeared safer and cafes for drinks & snacks were handy and in the evening the entertainment and restaurants were in this area.
After 2 weeks we were not ready to go home but unfortunately we had to. Although we did not see Valery, we did send a few e-mails about minor matters and he dealt with them promptly. He was also very obliging in allowing us a later check out time (use of lounge, kitchen and pool area for an extra couple of hours) as we had a late flight - although bear in mind this will not always be possible if the next people are checking in as soon as they are allowed, as cleaning has to be done. The information we received from him before the holiday regarding all aspects of the villa was clear and detailed and codes, keys etc were exactly as advised.
Thank you Valery for the use of your fantastic villa - we will be back.
“Excellent apartment great owners” This is an outstanding apartment on the ground floor pool level with every possible piece of equipment you could require for your holiday especially if you are travelling with children and wish to cook, which we didn't but it is nice to have the option.apartment is furnished to a high standard and very well maintained and spotlessly clean, great selection of books games etc available and most important it now has its own wifi free to you and very high speed.fantastic owners with great communication.if booking this from uk I would suggest making your deposit payment via the post office if you pay a little more the transaction is free compared to the £25 fee charged by the bank.this is a lovely complex, very helpful staff, great pools and food at the poolside bar is nice.there is a strict no ball sign etc at this complex which unfortunately the lifeguard doesn't enforce which resulted in my little boy getting hit by a large ball being played with by an adult which was a bit of a pain throughout the holiday but we just picked a different time of day to go to pool.all the complex is wheelchair accessible with lifts and ramps but when you do go out onto the street you have a steep hill going both up and down for a short distance.we found some great restaurants, down along the beach front at the far end is El Puerto I would definitely recommend it for breakfast/lunch or dinner, staff are so lovely and nothing is a problem, also if you go up the hill and go over the junction towards laguna 1 there is a little strip of restaurants and here we ate in Victoria's again great food and staff and it has a great selection on the menu inc the 3course for €8.75.we usually ended up in The fiddler bar at night were you will be well looked after by the lovely Georgina and Wendy. The Sloop well that's a different story-pleasant staff but oh dear it is a pain especially when they start there very poor singing at 3pm a couple of days a week, little tip is to just go out at that time,it does go on a bit rowdy at weekend and considering there seemed to be only about 8 in it,but I definitely wouldn't let this put me off returning to this lovely complex and apartment, thank you Anya and Helga
“everything you need” brill apt having two balcony,s had a slight problem with the safe but one phone call and it soon sorted excellent service Every thing in the apt you could need. Close to the beach and resturants

Club Atlantis**** - Costa Adeje-Puerto Colon "010" REFURBISHED 6/2018- FRONTLINE
Excellent apartment, ground floor overlooking the pool. Lovely, new, clean and modern with air-con; washing machine; great balcony; WiFi; safe; heated pools - all free. Great location for Adeje and Los Americas.
Only 2 downsides, not really anything that is the fault of the owners, there is a bar underneath (not part of the complex) which is quite loud at night (currently belting out all the Queen hits) if you have kids sensitive to noise make sure you bring something to drown them out - but it is Tenerife!
The other is the sleeping arrangements. It easily sleeps 4 however it means that 2 are on the dreaded sofa bed which was marginally better than the wooden pull out types but as always they are better suited for the lighter person(s). However for the price difference between a 1 and 2 bed apartment we coped!
All things considered I would definitely recommend and come back - great stay! …

Your Little Piece of Paradise
First Time in Tenerife
We really enjoyed our first time in Tenerife and the apartment’s location/views were fab!
We sat out and eat on the balcony every day as the weather was fantastic and the roll out awning provided perfect shade from the mid-day sun. It was quiet but not so quiet as to feel isolated.
The apartment has all you need for a short stay but we felt it could do with a little updating. We noted this with the owner who appreciated our feedback. Otherwise all good. We even had UK tv, which we dipped into a couple of times to watch Strictly Come Dancing and the Grand Prix :-)
We hired a car for the week from the airport which is only 15mins easy drive and our highlights were Mt Teide and Masca, but we also visited Los Gigantes and local towns.
All in all a great week and we would recommend if you want a simple and value for money week away. …
Mareverde Apartment with 2 Bedrooms
Great location and beautiful apartment
Stayed here for 10 days with my 2 children in October 2018. My children loved the pools which kept them occupied happily with all the levels, waterfall and slide bits. It was very cold water but kids don't care lol. The pool edges were a bit tired looking but didn't effect use. The apartment is lovely and you can see newly fitted with kitchen, bathroom and decorated through out, I would say possibly one of the most comfortable double beds I have slept in abroad, I'm a lousy sleeper but slept great. Although would recommend eye mask as no blinds on small window in double bedroom. The owners are very nice, mentioned it was very hot 1st night and the next day they had bought a new room fan which made the rest of the stay cool. Everything you could possibly need is in the apartment and the nice touch is they leave what others haven't used for future visitors! ie dishwasher tabs, cloths, sauces etc. The Italian couple next door (residents) are lovely. Only ate at the on site food bar once which was nice and reasonably priced (water filling machine there which is cheaper than buying more bottles, more eco friendly and less distance to carry back than from shops, awesome idea).. The complex is only 10 min walk from a large supermarket (tip - take wheelie cabin case to put shopping in, saves on arms). There is 2 little shops just outside complex but contents are limited and more money than supermarket. Only 10-15 min stroll to sea, snorkelling near harbour (where inflatable obstacle course is) is great, lots of beautiful fish to be seen. Overall great holiday, apartment and location. …

Beautiful 3 Bedroom Villa. Private Heated Pool. Costa Adeje. Sleeps 7 |MRZ242256
I visited here with my family this being my first villa holiday,I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was thrilled with the villa. It was clean and very spacious and beautifully decorated. The outside was immaculate. The only thing I would say is it’s a 15 minute walk from the supermarket and on the first day we had no idea where anything was so it would benefit from a guide to show where things are and how to get there. I would recommend this villa and would book again. …
