Desirable Westmoreland Neighbourhood adjacent to Golf and Tennis Courts, I minute drive to nearby sandy West Coast beaches, 10 minutes to Warrens, 12 Minutes to Bridgetown, 2 minutes to Holetown for fabulous shops, restaurants, bars , clubs etcc, 15 minutes to Kensington Cricket Oval.

A stroll to the Sandy lovely Alleynes Beach which has water sports, bars etc or a 1 minute drive.

HOUSE GENERAL

Large 2 storey Villa, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms - 2 ensuite bathrooms and one other bathroom. Generous 11000 sq ft plot with a house build size of 3,200 sq ft. Recently repainted and redecorated, air conditioning in all bedrooms and in one of the two ounges. Cooling valley breezes. 2 large lounges, 2 large patios. Comprehensively furnished. TVs, Hi FIs, Telephone, satellite TV, Internet,, DVD, Hair Dryer, Sun Loungers. A relaxing home from home in an upmarket location on the beautiful west coast region of Barbados. . Full Air conditioning to all of the bedrooms although you may well prefer the cooling valley breezes that flow through the house

Quite frankly the response is made up largely of untrue statements. The guests comments to the property manager on the first day was that the house is lovely but in the wrong location - for them. They want to very close to public transport. Westmoreland is not the sort of area where residents and visitors normally take public transport. They asked Sharon to arrange a Hire Care for the 4 of them but baulked at the cost saying the taxi fares are not bad. I offered to help with the taxi fares but that was not taken up. Plenty of public is available on the West Coast Road which is a 10 minute walk downhill. The house location is on the google map on the site The house is listed as having a portable AC unit in each of the 4 bedrooms and it has. These Units can also work as fans. Two other fans have been provided on request The Price paid is what was on the site at the time of the booking. It cannot work any different. The Site operate deals with all payments. Hosts only get paid after guests have checked in. If they had any concerns they could have raised it with the site or myself prior to making the final payment. They did not do so and the first time I heard about this in in their review. Its of course untre The house is in fact just under 1 minute downhill to the lovely Allyene's beach by car. Countless persons have down that or walked and Sharon could prove that to them if they were interested as they are still there 12 of the 14 windows have screens. The other two are in 1 of the 10 rooms and have decorative slatted windows on the inside of traditional windows. When the windows are open and the slats are closed birds or cats cannot get in and mosquitoes are keep out No one has ever seen a cat on the property in 9 years. No stray cats in that area and the property is completely enclosed by a high fence The bedrooms are as listed. There are no twin beds. There is one Queen and 3 doubles one of which is $2500.00 very comfortable convertible soft leather Sofa. Its a real solid bed. They have not made any complaint about that prior to writing the review All of the kitchen items listed are there and the guests have not requested anything else or made a prior complaint. In fact there are a wide range of items in store at the house. If they had asked for the Hair Dryer it would have been provider as there is one on store. There are 2 TVS and 2 Sterios and 2 lounges, 2 patios and more. There is no shortage against what is listed The guests have stayed in Barbados before a short stroll to west coast road (as apposed to 10 minutes). They wanted to be that near again and actually started inquiring about other accommodation quite early one. They never responded to the offer of support with Taxi fares and, to be honest people staying or living in Westmoreland do not generally take public transport They did not even choose to contact me although they have all of my contact details. Anyone who has ever been to the Villa will tell you that there are cooling valley breezes that flow through the house as soon as the patio doors and windows are opened There were a number of other complaints which turned out to be groundless - such as the Internet was not working (it worked 3 days prior to the compliant) when actually it was working I am quite happy to have a discussion with and support guests who are acting in good faith and moreover who have approached me. They have never done so. I not at all happy with anyone blatantly telling untruths about the property and by implication impinging my character. I will keep my options open on this However any reasonable person reading both the review and the response should be able to take view of whats before them Collymore - Owner
