Villa Staffieri has been renovated and restored to bring together both comfort and style, while at the same time celebrating the beautiful architecture of Italian traditional stone farmhouses. The villa is spacious and each bedroom has its own bathroom facilities, making it ideal for either a large family or two families sharing.
The villa is situated in the Verdicchio wine region (Castelli di Jesi) of Le Marche, at the edge of a beautiful hill-top village. Le Marche boasts many wonderful features, such as golden beaches, snow-clad peaks, gentle hills and enchanting towns; a stunning landscape that, together with the warmth and friendliness of the local people, and wonderful food and wine, make Le Marche a region to enjoy year after year.
Whether you are looking for art and architecture, beautiful walks, designer shopping or just relaxation, you can enjoy all of this from the comfort of Villa Staffieri.

We provide a SatNav pre-programmed with many local restaurants and attractions:
Site seeing: The thriving and elegant town of Jesi is the nearest main town to Castelplanio. It has a lively cultural life, a good civic art gallery and many architectural beauties to endear you. It also boasts a prestigious autumn Opera Season 'Pergolesi', named after the famous composer. Other must-sees include Urbino (42miles), a jewel of a renaissance city with art collections to rival that of Uffizi in Florence, Frasassi Caves (10miles), some of the most spectacular limestone caves that you are ever likely to visit, and Cingoli (20miles), called the balcony of Le Marche by virtue of the superb panoramic views of the region that it offers.
Walking: This region has an abundance of good walks catering from the more serious walker, to the leisurely stroller.
Shopping: Discount designer shopping is one of the most popular pastimes of stylish Italians, and it can be yours too. Pick up a bargain at the Prada, Armani or Tods factory stores, to name but a few. All are within a short drive away.
Activities: Take advantage of this wonderful wine region by enjoying a tour of the many local vineyards (our favourite is the renowned 'Montecappone' vineyard – a small, family-run business, yet it has made its mark on the world wine stage), all tours include 'tasting session'.
Tennis is available locally and golf is approx. 30mins drive away.
Beaches: Le Marche lies on the eastern side of central Italy, with fabulous blue-flag beaches running along the clear Adriatric Sea. In true Italian style, take a sun-lounger for the day at nearby Senigallia, or a bit further afield at Numana or Sirolo.
