“relaxing, lovely, and extremely dog-friendly” My partner and our puppy spent 3 perfect nights at Donna and Eric's lovely guest cottage and we wish we could have stayed 30 more. It was a great location off the beaten path with ample wide open space to walk around, appreciate the gorgeous Sierra Nevadas, and even have a nightly fire in the fire pit that Eric so kindly would set up for us. The best part was the freedom our puppy could experience exploring the endless yard, running free, and playing with their 3 sweet dogs. Their home is located conveniently in between the west and south entrances to Yosemite and is not to far from adorable downtown Mariposa. Great location, beautiful surroundings, with considerate and friendly hosts. Thank you for a great vacation and we will definitely return!

“Great Place with History” First of all, this place is great. Do not misunderstand, this house is not a $5mil mansion, it is a fantastic home in Yosemite that is a huge value!. I have stayed here many times and I have never been disappointed (winter, summer and all in between). A neat bonus is the history of the owner, Hans Florine. Hans is the current world speed record holder for the fastest ascent up The Nose of El Cap at 2 hours 23 minutes!!! So cool. Back to the house. All you need to bring is food, everything else is there and everything is labeled as to its location (all drawers are clearly labeled) that is a very nice feature when renting a house. Now with internet... Heck, just book it for your trip, you can't go wrong.

“Fantastic Yosemite Getaway” My family and I stayed at this property over President's weekend and we couldn't have been more pleased. The house is incredibly clean and nice, with hardwood laminate floors, granite counter tops, new appliances, a lovely bath area, and a washer/dryer. The home's owners live upstairs and couldn't have been more welcoming. During our first evening we got snowed in, but Tom and Theresa made us forget that we had even wanted to go skiing by helping us find the perfect location to sled with our kids and also introducing us to some families so the kids could all play together in the snow. I've stayed at other Yosemite West locations, but never one as clean and nice as this one or with such gracious hosts. We will definitely come again soon!
