“A special treat for a special lady” For our 30th anniversary I wanted to do something special. I spent ages looking for the perfect spot and was drawn to Limin House after reading the reviews and doing some research on Tortola. The family were given envelopes for "Secret Island" and told to show up at the airport on a certain date and time. After all of the build up and suspense were they disappointed? No way - Limin House was simply perfect. So relaxing and comfortable. The views are truly spectacular. The sound system is set up so that the sound level can be controlled all along the house which was a treat. Loved the pool, the margarita machine, the grill, the outdoor shower. Absolutely no complaints at all. The access road to the house presents a challenging drive culminating in a very tight and steep sloped driveway, but this is a small price to pay for the joy that awaits once you enter Limin House. Susan was a treat to deal with and her Manager, Debs, was great. The waiting bottle of Sebastian's rum was a treat and greatly appreciated. We followed several of Susan's recommendations (airport, car hire, personal chef, sailing etc.) and they were all first class. Tortola is now my favorite Caribbean island. Admittedly the restaurant service is extremely slow but remember you are on island time. If you don't like it then manage the situation by sending an advance party to preorder the drinks, then when they arrive place your second order. I've traveled all over the world (+50 countries) and typically prefer to travel to a new country or at least a new destination rather than attempt a repeat, but I will make an exception for Limin House. We all want to return as quickly as possible.
