“Clean, Comfortable and Beautiful Spot” We just returned from a week at Lighthouse C and had a wonderful time. The location on East Sandwich Beach was perfect, and I can't rave enough about how beautiful the water was and how perfect that area was for a family with kids. The water was so blue and clear that at times it felt like we were in the Caribbean! There was also a tidal pool that formed at low tide with lots of sealife for the kids to discover (bring a net!) . Lighthouse C itself was small, but we found it clean and comfortable (especially the beds). There have been updates made since pictures were last taken, including a brand new sofa bed in the livingroom (more of a futon- but a nice one), and a microwave (which was invaluable). We didn't notice the musty smell another reviewer noted - but I think that review may have been before the new matresses and sofa. We may try another cottage next year. Many of the other cottages in the same association (Lighthouse Cottages) were more udpated, with skylights, window aC units, etc. There was one hot day when aC would have come in handy. All in all I'd say that Lighthouse C was a good value (looks to be priced $100-$200 less per week than the more updated neighbor cottages), we enjoyed our stay there and I know we'd have a great time if we stayed again.

“Beachside Resort in Cape Cod” First of all, we loved the area in East Sandwich and really enjoyed the access to the private beach. The cottage was cozy and well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The cottage sits behind 2 other cottages so the view of the beach/ocean is blocked from indoors...but the weather was fantastic and with children...you can't just sit indoors...you've got to go out and be a part of nature. This was the lovely aspect of our holiday!

“Great for a family vacation” This was our third year renting this property and as usual had a great time. The cottage was very clean with a lot of nice touches.The fans and air conditioner in the bedrooms made for a comfortable night of sleeping.(The week we stayed was rather humid). The location was great. We look forward to next year.

“Great Get-away” Staying at this location has been one of the greatest things we have done for ourselves. So restful, and relaxing -Watching the water. Town of Sandwich so convienient for all your needs. This cottage is so clean and comfortable. The owner is very accomodating to make sure your stay is at it's best.

“Wonderful Beach” We have rented this location for the last five years and have enjoyed the experience immensley. The cottage is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bonus of washer and dryer makes vacationing more convenient. The only issues I have concerns some of the fixtures being older and in disrepair. The awnings outside need repair as well as some windows and the tile around the bathtub appear to be loose. These are only minor issues and did not effect the quality of our vacation. I would recommend this location to anyone interested in vacationing on the Cape.

“Cutest place on face of this earth!” Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Beachland I! The cottage is very open with lots of natural light and ocean breezes. We hardly had to turn on the lights or close the windows. The cottage had everything we needed except rugs and a lobster pot. Rugs for wiping sand off our feet and lobster pot for feasting. We enjoyed the beach for relaxing, fishing, campfires, hunting for sand dollars and starfish. We found 25 sand dollars and 10 starfish. We'll definitely be coming back again!

“Comfortable” Comfortable house but outdated. Really needed internet service but their was no modem, so we wasted some time looking, and then contacting your office and waiting for a response and then a modem.

“a lovely place” We had a lovely time at this cottage. My 2 year old daughter cried when our week was up and she still asks to go to the beach cottage. The screened porch was our favorite and if only the weather cooperated it would have been perfect. The only downside was that my husband found the mattresses to be too hard for him. But otherwise it's been the nicest cottage we've ever stayed in. Highly recommend walking about 10 minutes to the left on the beach towards the rocks where the kids can go crabbing. We caught and released 6 crabs in two days.

“Honeymoon in Cape Cod” I rented this house for my son and his new wife for their honeymoon. They said they had a fantastic time and that the house and location were just perfect. As a chef, my son was very happy to be able to cook lobsters in the pot provided. While they have not had time since their return to complete this review, I just wanted to let you know that I found the renting process very easy and I am told the staff at Sand Dollar were lovely and easy to deal with.
