The Shores is the perfect place for a romantic getaway enjoying amazing sunsets. On Grand Traverse Bay - a sandy beach just steps away. Part of the Grand Traverse Resort Spa Golf Course.

Pool access: This is a wonderful location regardless, however frustrating for all involved; this past year, the Resort that owns the pool put some strict policies in place only allowing guests that book directly through them or use it - even we as owners can t use it. That said, the beach is gorgeous, but they also host weddings there sometimes - however, you can walk along the beach to the left, and it extends to a public beach which is lovely too, and you ll always have access there.

*Please note, some outdoor amenities are not available year round due to Michigan weather.

There is one little semi-workaround if you really want a pool; you can book a spa treatment at the Grand Traverse Resort, and you ll receive access to the pool and facilities for the rest of the day. Just request the code to access the pool/locker rooms, and you ll be able to use their indoor pool, indoor/outdoor hot tubs, tennis courts, etc.

You also already have access to their shops, restaurants, and golf. �

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
