From the owner

Villa Seahouse has a unique location overlooking the Atlantic. It sits on a cliff giving 180 degree ocean views and the terraces are not overlooked - something rare. The villa has a stunning interior, engaging with space, light and sea - our architect also designed the MACRO Art Museum in Rome.

Essentially, Seahouse is a comfortable family home. In building and furnishing we’ve aimed to use local and sustainable materials. The villa is available for self-catering rentals and we offer on-call support to guests during their stay. Guest reviews give a good impression of what to expect.

There is 300sq.m of bright interior space with a bridge through a triple-height living and dining area. In the central space you find the salon with direct access to our heated pool, a dining area with seating for up to 12 guests and a well-equipped kitchen. You also have access to a large hammock. The central area has several large paintings and is occasionally used as an exhibition space.

All 6 bedrooms have integral bathrooms, sea views and access to a terrace or balcony. The 6th bedroom is also set up as our TV room with 2 single sofabeds - great for kids.

Villa Seahouse is all about the view!

There are 300sq.m of terraces and balconies. Our heated pool (16m) is not over-looked so offers complete privacy. Terraces have sun loungers and seating with tables for dining outside.

The villa is in a quiet residential area and inside it is a world of its own. A 10-minute walk along the beach or over the old airfield takes you into the small Berber town of Sidi Ifni for the markets, shops, restaurants and even two bars! Sidi Ifni was built by the Spanish in 1930’s and is renowned for its Art-Deco public buildings.

We can arrange transfers from Agadir airport – the drive down takes about 2 hours. Youssef, the manager, can also arrange help with cooking, taxis and car hire, child-minding and day trips - extra charges apply.

Villa 'seahouse' has many different spaces and offers great privacy. Groups of 1-12 always have sole use of the villa. It's great for honeymooners as well as large families! We will show you how the villa works and give you the key. Our house manager, Youssef, will be on call and will assist you when needed - otherwise we will respect your privacy. He needs daily access to maintain the pool but arranges this to suit you. The maid, Fatima, comes daily 10.00-12.00 - you can alter the time or request she doesn't come. We can also arrange help with catering, transport and drivers, child-minding and a range of activities - excursions into the desert, surfing, tennis, riding, etc....

'Seahouse' is to be used by notified guests only. We do not allow other visitors into the villa - to protect our privacy and yours.
We register all guests with the local tourist police for your safety so we will ask for the names of your group members before arrival.
The villa is for holiday use - no parties or business use.
Moroccan couples or tourists accompanying a Moroccan must be married and have their certificate to conform with Moroccan law.
The only RULE - enjoy villa 'seahouse'.

I’m pleased you enjoyed the villa and Sidi Ifni, despite some niggles. The house has lots of space and usually lots of sun – that’s the point! Ifni isn’t a developed resort which is the attraction for most guests. The local council is not well-resourced and so don’t have equipment to clean beaches like Agadir and of course the sea everywhere deposits rubbish with each tide. But I’ve just been on the beach and apart from the high water mark it’s clean – 3km of sandy beach and only some guys fishing, some surfers plus lots of terns. As you said, visitors don’t get hassled and so it’s a chance to take part in a simpler way of life. I’m not sure if simple/basic is good or bad? Eating super-fresh sardines grilled in the basic restaurants by the fish market tastes good to me. And the Sunday market is a typical African market for local people with heaps of fresh fruit and vegetables along with dates, spices…all wonderful to look at. I’ve also found Italian linen jackets among the second clothes – not bad for £2! I’m glad you’ll come back – 30% of our guests do and I’ll make sure you get an extra bottle of wine in your welcome pack…

Thanks for your review. You obviously ‘got’ Sidi Ifni. Most guests enjoy finding somewhere a bit off the beaten track. As you say it’s a comfortable house with lots of space. While it’s fun to be in the sea it can be difficult to swim in the Atlantic so great to have the choice of the 16m pool! And the big views from all the terraces make it easy to spend a lot of time chilling. I hope you come back – many guests return and so become friends.

How do damage deposits work?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Peter (the owner) a message.

If Peter (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
