Colorful and rustic house in a historic street of the center of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil overlooking All Saints Bay, the Marina and the Museum of Modern Art.
I love Salvador especially its African influenced culture.
I rent a room in my colorful house. The room has a double bed & ceiling fan (no air conditioner)
PRIVATE ROOM
A home in which your privacy & security will be respected and maintained
Upstairs part of house. One flight up on spiral stairs.
No kitchen use but that is great news because it gives you the opportunity to taste all the local culinary treats. The even better news is that this is all in walking distance (up the hill): bakeries, shops, inexpensive restaurants, farmers markets. The best restaurants in Salvador (expensive ) are also close by in the Bahia Marina.
The house is also walking distance or cheap uber or cab ride to Pelourinho (historic center, night life and restaurants), theaters, movies, museums, commercial center, laundry facilities and shopping malls and Barra beach.
Centrally located so taxis & uber to various parts of the city are available.
Salvador is a fun place to discover. I encourage exploring the happenings outside the typical tourist locations (of course go to those as well). The house/temple is warm, colorful and welcoming but probably what makes this house/temple unique is that I am a cross cultural consultant, African derived cultural and development specialist, an Africa and Africa diaspora expert; a human rights and environmental activist and a student exchange, faculty research and language facilitator. I can design specialty cultural, spiritual, educational and ecological tours tailored to your needs (for a fee). I am also a Reiki Master (20 years) and an intuitive and crystal healer --- so in other words after your long trip to Salvador you can schedule a treatment were you to require any of these services.

The room is simple but welcoming and a great place to replenish your energies after exploring and enjoying the arts, culture, gastronomic and spiritual life that Salvador offers.
