With a history going back at least as far as 1763, Mount Edgecombe Plantation Estate is a working plantation originally producing sugar cane and rum, but later switching to growing spice, cocoa and coffee. Its stunning, sheltered and elevated location on the West Coast of Grenada, enjoys cool sea breezes, amazing sunsets and the panoramic views of the shimmering Caribbean Sea. The traditional accommodation is surrounded by 28 acres of colourful flora, with over 40 types of aromatic spices, fruit and vegetables.
The Plantation House offers self-contained accommodation for 9 people with four bedrooms (three double, one twin) and a relaxing wrap around covered living/dining veranda with 180˚ views of the sea and plantation estate. In addition, there is a living room, kitchen/diner, study and pool room.
The nutmeg rooms available separately, offer four additional ensuite bedrooms (three double, one twin). Facilities also include two stunning infinity pools along with the Great Room and Little Bamboo bar, offering the perfect dining experience. Exclusive use of the entire estate (sleeping 19) provides the dream location for an intimate wedding, family reunion, and private event of special interest groups.
A live-in team provides housekeeping and can cater for individual preferences of food and beverage with freshly prepared local dishes using produce from the estate, and the opportunity to choose freshly picked fruit for breakfast.
