Bed & Breakfast 'Baobab Belge' is situated between the sparkling seaside station Saly and the authentic fishermen's village Mbour. At only 50m there is a white sand beach surrounded by palmtrees, known as 'The Petite Côte' a beautiful bay of The Atlantic Ocean. In a tropical garden Baobab Belge offers you at one side 3 charming rooms, around a solar terrace, with a fully equiped open kitchen and dining room aside.On the other side of the garden an independent studio with his own kitchen and private terrace, view on the bubbling yacuzzi beneath the palmtrees.All 4 charming rooms have Wifi and airconditioning.

In our cosy quarter at walking distance you find typical shops and nice restaurants where you can enjoy senegalese and french cooking at very cheap prices. Twice a week you can participate at a senegalese 'soirée' with orchestras and a lot of dancing.

'Baobab Belge' organises custom made excursions like visiting the fisherman's warf at Mbour by horse and carriage, safaris in the nearby 'Reserva de Bandia' or to Parc Djoudj, world's second bird nature park, close to St-Louis, the oldest colonial town, etc... Our local and very friendly guides will show you the inside Senegalese life as well, in the authentic hut villages, helping out the women by piling maïs or fishing together with the locals in colourful boats. And so much more!

Let's talk that over by a welcome drink at our cosy terrace in front, where we serve a lovely breakfast in the morning and a fresh fished BBQ in the evening....

    How do damage deposits work?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Baobab Belge (the owner) a message.

    If Baobab Belge (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
