This beautiful private house located just an hours drive from Nairobi or 15 mins drive from Naivasha town. It really is an amazing 4 bedroom house ideal for families, groups or honeymooners. Quiet, serene and breathtakingly stunning ! The home offers peace , quiet and hours of relaxation . Spend your evenings around a bbq by the camp fire or on my roof top terrace watching the sunrise and set over the lake. Spend your days exploring Mount Longonot , Hells Gate or drive down to the lake .

You have uninterrupted access to the entire house during your stay It is a fully kitted out house that runs on solar power..Guests have full use of the entire house with all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Just bring your food and drinks!

Wildlife including giraffes and zebras roaming around and its an absolute joy to laze back and chill out.

Property is fully secure with a beautiful fence and stunning flaura and fauna , 2 friendly resident dogs and 3 security guards.

It is a purely self catering home

Our home was recently built in 2017 and named Sidai Ridge after the spectacular panaoramic views of Lake Naivasha and Mt. Longonot. Sidai Ridge is nessled 800m above the main Mai – Mahiu – Naivasha Road. As this is a family home, you will find many of our personal possessions and although we are happy to share them with you, we would appreciate you treating the house with due respect.

FIREWOOD AND DRINKING WATER. Please take up both of these with you. The firewood is for the fire at night, and also the water is not suitable for drinking or cooking.

WATER. Water is collected from the roof during the rainy season and is in a large tank under the kitchen. Before you arrive it is pumped up to a tank in the roof and gravitates down. Again careful use is advised.

SHOWERS

Hot water is always available and is heated using a traditional Kuni Booster ( Water heated in a tank using wood and then pumped into the mains. Please let the caretaker know at least 30 miuntes prior to wanting to shower so it can be set up. Please use the water sparingly . PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT USING WATER AND NOT WASTEFUL. DO NOT COOK OR DRINK WATER FROM THE TAP.

APPLIANCES

Our house has the basic appliances for your comfort . Unfortunately due to us not being on the main power grid , we do not offer fridges , microwaves , toasters etc,,,However we do have all crockery and cutlery and gas cookers available including a beautiful outside bar and bbq area next to the open fireplace in the garden

STAFF. My caretakers are available as a caretaker and cleaner. When you arrive, please let them know if you want help, or if you just want look after the house on your own. Please also let him know the timings you would like them around (or not), so that he is are aware of your requirements. He speaks English. He will show you how the house works and in particular the solar water heating and power. If you are happy with your stay, a tip to him would be really appreciated – as a guideline, USD 3.00 per guest per night in your group.

SECURTITY We have 3 resident security guards manning our main gate, compound gate and common areas. We also have two lovely and friendly puppies who are opened at night after you lock your doors.
