3 BR / 2.5 BA (Q, 2D, 2S )- Sleeps 8 - The A side of a comfortable beach front duplex facing the St Helena Sound. Great deck areas and a screen porch to sit and enjoy the views of the beach and wonderful sunsets! The first floor has 2 bedrooms and a full hall bath with a huge soaking tub, a separate shower, and another 1/2 bath. The bedroom facing Palmetto has 2 doubles, the one facing the ocean, 2 Singles. The ocean view bedroom opens onto a covered deck area overlooking the Sound. Both bedrooms on this floor have a TV. A hallway on the right of the duplex leads to a screen porch and open deck on this floor. The 2nd Floor has a Great Room (LR/DR/Kit) as well as the master bedroom with a queen size bed and TV. There is a private bath adjacent to this bedroom with a large stand up shower. "Dog House A" would make a affordable choice for a beach front vacation on Edisto Beach.

    The beauty of a Edisto Island is irresistible. While we were there the beach was quiet and all the attractions were only moderately busy. This particular house has both pros and cons. Pros: The view… More

    Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about your recent Edisto Beach vacation. Most coastal communities will experience differences in dry sand. Believe it or not, so much of this can be a result of wind and along with high tides. During the past month Edisto Beach had "king tides" which can even be higher than a normal high tide. You are right the "sound beach" is perfect for families with small children, but the sunsets!!!. The ocean beach (up to the 2800 block) is where you will find the waves and the surf sounds. Edisto Realty has many homes on the "beach front" and we will be glad to help you find your next vacation home. Again, thank you and come see us soon.
