Orcas Island Getaway is the perfect escape for your next trip to the San Juan Islands. Located on a 3/4 acre parcel surrounded by towering native evergreen trees, this 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath home manufactured in 2001 was completely remodeled in 2014/2015. The open design and high ceilings take advantage of the 1,300 square feet, providing an open and spacious home.
You'll enjoy spending time relaxing outside as the home has two large decks with morning sun in the front and afternoon sun in the back. The rear deck overlooks the back yard with landscape lighting at night, features a Patio table with 4 chairs, a Stainless Steel propane BBQ grill and leads to the outdoor Hot Tub for even more relaxation.
The home boasts a large Master Suite with a king-sized bedroom set, walk-in-closet and a remodeled bath, which features a deep corner soaking tub and a beautiful travertine shower and floors as well as a dual sink vanity. The guest bedroom includes a queen-sized bed and matching armoire and side-table, full sized closet and access to the remodeled guest bathroom with modern porcelain tiles and full height rolling glass shower door.

The home is just 1 mile from the vibrant community of Eastsound, the heart of Orcas Island, and only 2 blocks to the beautiful Crescent Beach and the Crescent Beach Preserve.
For outdoor enthusiasts, we're a close 3.5 miles from Moran State Park where you'll find Mt. Constitution, over 30 miles of hiking trails, mountain biking, canoes & kayaking as well as several freshwater lakes.

While the Island begs you to get out and enjoy nature, sometimes it's nice just hang out and relax. In the living room, you'll find a very comfortable leather & microfiber sectional sofa which provides the relaxing atmosphere you're looking for after a day of exploring Orcas Island and its many gems.
The theme of "Modern Rustic" is carried throughout the home in its furnishings and decor, and a neutral palette of earthy tones provide a tranquil environment for you to unwind.

GUEST BEDROOM WITH QUALITY FURNISHINGS: The guest bedroom features a Dania bedroom set with a Serta® Perfect Sleeper® Davis Eurotop premium quality Queen-sized mattress set. There's a full sized armoire, as well as a single nightstand and lamp next to the bed. The guest bedroom has immediate access to the remodeled Guest Bathroom just up the hall. The guest bath features a large remodeled shower with full length rolling door, and modern porcelain tiles in the shower and floor.
A COMPLETE KITCHEN WILL ALLOW YOUR CULINARY CREATIVITY TO SHINE
Of course there are literally hundreds of amazing dishes being served by the local restaurants in Eastsound and surrounding communities, so don't spend all your time in the kitchen. But if you enjoy cooking at home as much as we do, then you'll appreciate a fully stocked kitchen to help you with all the things needed to create your own mouthwatering masterpieces.
Fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood and meat from local farmers and ranchers allow you to use the freshest of ingredients if you're preparing your own meals. We also have a small herb selection in a planter on the back deck for you to enjoy.
ENJOY THE OUTDOORS, BOTH ON THE ISLAND AND AT THE HOME
Although the property is surrounded by enormous Cedars, Douglas Firs and other native trees, you'll find the home is showered with sunlight throughout the day.
Lounge in the morning/early afternoon sun on the front deck with comfortable adirondack chairs and on the afternoon/evening on the rear deck with patio set, BBQ grill and patio set.
Take a short stroll on the trails through the property. One trail continues and leads you to Crescent Beach Drive, where just a few blocks away, you could continue on a short walk to Crescent Beach and the Crescent Beach Preserve where you'll find a 1.5 mile round trip flat trail to enjoy.
RELAXING COULDN'T BE EASIER
Out on the back deck you'll find a peaceful escape from everything. Hearing birds singing in the trees and frogs from a nearby pond are a great reprise from the hustle-and-bustle of everyday life. The outdoor hot tub is located just around the corner from the deck and is sure to help you unwind.
Near dusk, you will often see deer making their way through the back side of the property as they head to other surrounding areas in search of tasty treats (yes, usually our flowering plants). The large deck overlooks the landscaping and outdoor mood lighting- making for a favorite spot you'll spend relaxing day or night.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY NOTE:
While maximum occupancy is listed as 6 guests, the home has 2 bedrooms and 2 beds - most guests have a max party of 4. If you have more than 4 guests and have questions around potential sleeping arrangements, please contact us.

Orcas Island Getaway is dog friendly, but there are a few items guests will need to agree to in order to have their furry friends welcomed to the home. Any guest bringing their dog must also complete the Pet Agreement and pay the additional pet fee, as well as follow the terms and conditions below:
1 Dog: + $25 nightly
2 Dogs: + $40 nightly
A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed, and they must be registered in advance with the rental agreement.
Paperwork from your veterinarian will also be required to confirm the following:
1) Must be at least 1 year old and must be spayed/neutered
2) Vaccinations must be current, including rabies, during the dates of the scheduled stay
All dogs must be treated with flea/tick medication 3 days prior to arrival
Dogs must be on leashes at all times while outside the home
Dogs cannot be left unattended for any amount of time inside or outside the home
Owners must pick up and properly dispose of all waste from their pets
Doggie-doo bags are located in the first drawer near the front door
There's an off-leash dog park located less than 2 miles from Orcas Island Getaway. It's located near the airport on the corner of North Beach Road and Mt. Baker Road.
