Have a peaceful stay in a homey, self-catering beach front house where you can totally relax. The house has a wonderful terrace and balcony with a stunning view of Apo Island. The beach, sun beds and hammock will constantly remind you that you are on vacation.

The beach house is located 4km south of Dauin, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house can accommodate up to 10 persons.

The beach house stands on a slightly elevated property overlooking the ocean. It’s designed with big window frames directly facing the ocean, providing a tropical vibe. On top of the relaxing ocean breeze through the windows is the amazing view of Apo Island which could be simply breathtaking.

The beach house can easily accommodate 10 persons and has 3 bedrooms. It has two private bedrooms, one of which is a fan room with a king size bed, while the other room has air conditioning, a king size bed, and a double sofa bed. The third bedroom is a studio type bedroom with one double bed, two single beds and extra mattress for 6 persons, and still spacious enough. The rooms and arrangement make the place perfect for families and big groups. The beach house also has a wide living room with comfortable couches that can be converted to an extra sleeping area with a mattress.

Right outside the living room is a well-equipped shared kitchen with a cozy atmosphere. It serves as the dining area too. Thanks to the beautiful garden and ocean view, cooking and eating are more enjoyable here. It’s a common area perfect for hanging around. If you love outdoor cooking, we have a charcoal BBQ grill that you can move around the garden or beach front. You have to try it! Late afternoon BBQ with family and friends over beer or good conversation, hammock, sun beds, waves at the background... It’s a great experience that surely would be memorable.

We have a strong and stable WIFI connection. Download speed is up to 2mbps and upload speed is up to 1mbps. I’d encourage you to spend your vacation as unplugged as possible though, as there is so much beauty around to enjoy. We’d be happy to help you arrange trips to the best places to see around the island. We could have a boat pick you up right outside the house for a day trip to Apo Island. We can also send you to Manjuyod Sandbar and to see dolphins, snorkel with whale sharks in Oslob, visit some waterfalls, and more. Please feel free to inquire about the available packages. :)

Should you wish to drive around with a motorbike, we have Honda scooters which can be rented on a daily basis. We’d appreciate it if you could notify us in advance if you want to rent one.

If you wish to have a breakfast or other meals prepared for you, just let us know in advance. We’re pretty flexible.

Your booking comes with ONE vehicle for FREE one way transfer from anywhere within the city. If another vehicle is needed, we’ll help you find one and arrange.

I highly recommend for my guests to rent a motorcycle or other vehicle when staying at the place. Many sites which are worth visiting are best reached with a XRM scooter. A scooter or car also makes you way more mobile and flexible.

If you are planning to buy a philippine sim card, consider buying a sim card from the telecommunication company "Smart". The coverage is the best in the country, also in rural areas like Dauin.

Before leaving the city, I highly recommend you to do your groceries in one of the bigger malls (Lee Plaza or Robinsons). There are markets close to the house, but they only sell basic groceries like rice, veggies, fruits, fish, etc.

We have two young dogs in the compound. They are very gentle and loving.

FREE PICKUP RULES

Pick up is within Dumaguete city only, and straight to the beach house (waiting time not included). Please note that we only have one vehicle for the free pick up. The capacity is 12 people plus minimal luggage. Should you need another vehicle we can help you find one to book.

KITCHEN RULES

All utensils and appliances in the kitchen can be used. After use, please return the appliances to where you got them from. We practice “Clean as you go” rule to keep the kitchen clean at all times. We segregate trash. Please refer to the labels on trash bins for proper disposal. Lastly, the kitchen will sometimes be shared if I am around or friends of mine. You will be notified beforehand if this will be the case. :) Cooking together is awesome!

HOUSE RULES

When entering the house, please make sure to leave your slippers or shoes outside. More importantly, please wash your feet if you have sand on them before entering the house.

Please turn off air-conditioning units when you leave the house.

Smoking inside the house is prohibited.
