Description

SAUDADES is a modern beach house planted in rustic, village surroundings - Perfect for a getaway holiday. An abundance of trees around the house with clusters of plants bordering the compound wall creates a hideaway ambience; And Open Spaces for Sun Bathing. The sands of the Candolim beach is less than 100 mtrs away; the Swimming Pool, Gym facilities & Children' Playground are next door. 24 hours water and a back-up electrical sytem ensures an uninterrupted holiday. Unbelievable and abundant amenities, at no extra cost, make this beach house a perfect and chore-free holiday stay.

The interiors of the House itself are simple with no fake frills yet very attractive and blend well with the village environment. All Three bedrooms, with bathrooms en-suite, are upstairs ensuring undisturbed sleep. Best of all: All bedrooms have attached terraces.

The Vacation Rental is meant for a family/friends holiday stay and the extra spaces of a private house help in providing an uncrowded environment. This house ofcourse goes one step better with the Lounge area and the Garden sit-out - Both perfect for the gang partying it up together.

The Saudades is a contemporary villa and as such the Bedrooms have all the necessary trappings of a modern house: En-suite Bathrooms, Geysers, Bathtubs, Air-Conditioners, Satellite TVs, Wi-Fi Coverage, Ceiling Fans, Etc. The Beds have 10 inch mattresses, which are both firm and comfy; Duvets with Silkenised Fillers and 400 TC Damask Cotton Duvet Covers; and a pair each of both soft and firm pillows. A Sofa Bed that sleeps two is downstairs in the Hall. A full bathroom is nearby. The Hall, Sitting room, Dining area and a fully-equipped, modern Kitchen are downstairs. The sitting place has a 29 inch TV and a DVD player and a small book shelf for the avid reader. The Kitchen is modern and fully-equipped with Two fridges, Microwave, OTG, Toaster, Sandwich Maker, Coffee Percolator, Rice and Milk Cookers, Water Purifier, Cooking Hobs and every conceivable item you would need and more; And perenially stocked with Tea, Ground Coffee, Sugar and Salt. Annexed to the house is the much favoured Covered Lounge Area and the Open Garden area. You choose where you want to party.

Downstairs there is an additional full-fledged bathroom that serves as a wash-room and comes in handy if you have downed one too many beers. Outside there is a shower, to get rid of the sand from the beach, and an additional tiny bathroom. The best part is that the owners have been generous and refrained from adding an extra bedroom downstairs and instead provided a larger living area that makes for a far more comfortable stay and very spacious for family and friends to gather downstairs.

All in all, it's a laid-back place - homey, cosy and unpretentious. And to make your holiday perfect and chore-free, we provide you a long list of necessary amenities at no extra cost:

When you leave, you'll take a bit of this house wherever you go. It's called Nostalgia. The Portuguese call it SAUDADES.

P.S.- The house sleeps six but additional persons are welcome. Prices quoted are for up to six persons.

Every extra person, whether adult or child, will be charged 10 percent of the price shown per night or per week.

E.g., If the charge is GBP 100.00 for six persons per night, then each extra person will be charged GBP 10.00 per night.

A sofa bed in the hall sleeps two extra persons. An extra complete bathroom with shower is near by.

P.P.S - No preferred changeover day. Check-in and Check-out times are 1300 Hrs and 1100 Hrs resp.

Early check-in or Late check-out may be arranged by blocking an extra day at half price, provided the check-out is prior

to 2000 Hrs and check-in is post 0400 Hrs.

If you want to stay like "at home" - in quiet ambiance, comfortable house, short distance to everything - ocean, pool, shops, restaurants, this is the place!!! Nice hosts, beautiful house, comfortable courtyard. Perfect!
