Villas in Rawai and Holiday rentals - Holiday Lettings - Holiday Rentals Rawai
“Beautiful villa with excellent pool” Stayed at Villa Julah for 12 days in Feb 2012 with a young family. Really liked the villa - done out in a high quality contemporary Asian style and the pool and gardens were great. The pool and gardens were very private and well maintained and the standards inside were equally good, particularly the ensuite bathroom. Good for children as plenty of space inside to play and the pool is good for them to cool down.
We had hired a car which worked well. Driving around takes a little bit of getting used to but is fine and gives you a lot of freedom. Villa Julah is a bit out of the village which is walking distance but hot in the sun and anyway the car gives much more independence. We loved Nai Harn beach - one of the best beaches in Phuket - so overall we liked the location.
The only issue we had was that one of the air conditioning units had broken before we arrived and wasn't fixed during the whole of our stay, apparently they needed a new part which had to be ordered so to some extent you have to expect these things but it contrasts with the excellence elsewhere. Also, be aware that the electricity bill is significant (about £80 over 12 days) due to the air-con and so you need to factor this in.
“Staying Coconut Villa was a lovely unforgettable experience.” We arrived at the Coconut Villa earlier than check-in time to find that the owners, Sue, Peter and Chris, knowing that our party - with two toddlers in tow and after such a long journey, had pulled out all the stops to have everything ready for us together with the warmest welcome. The villa and the two guest apartments were beautiful. The welcome packs were excellent, cots with mosquito nets supplied. The garden and the pool were beautifully kept. Everything we needed was there for us. A wonderful place, where the owners went out of their way to look after us, nothing was ever too much trouble.
We were there with our family for our daughter's wedding. Sue arranged the cars for us and our taxis for the airport.
We were a fews minutes walk from the local shops and restaurants.
We would highly recommend Coconut Villa, we already have done so to friends and family.

About Rawai, Thailand
Rawai was the very first tourist beach on Phuket. But, others have now taken over and Rawai has been almost forgotten by the many thousands of tourists that go to the island each year.
That's good news for you, though! You'll be able to enjoy the white sands and tranquil waters without being bothered by crowds of tourists.
The large casuarina trees that line the beach provide a cool shade during the hot afternoons, so you can spend all day on the shoreline.
Lush green hills surround the beach. They're full of pocket neighbourhoods that embody traditional Thai culture. Go exploring and see what you can find.
Being 20 km from Phuket and 15 km from Patong means you're never far away from the bustle of a lively town. But, Rawai always remains a peaceful spot for you to finish your day.
What to do in Rawai, Thailand
People come to Rawai for the beaches. There aren't any crowds or big bars, so you can relax and sunbathe all day long.
It's a working beach, so you may see local fishermen coming in and out, as well as tourist boats heading out to the surrounding islands. But, don't worry, there's plenty of space for everyone.
Speaking of boats, why not arrange a day trip around Coral Island, Koh Lone or Racha Island? You'll have a great view and it's always exciting to spend the day on the water. Try fishing or snorkelling while you’re there.
You must visit the seafood market! It'll be full of the day's best catches. If you're not sure how to cook it in the traditional Thai style, take a cooking class while you're here. Or, ask one of the restaurants to cook it for you—they're happy to help.
If you're looking to do something different on this holiday, try the Phuket seashell museum. It’s exciting and breathtaking displays are not to be missed.

The owner BRIAN and his wife were very accommodating and provided us with the basic food essentials and beer for when we arrived, they were available at all times if we needed anything, we even had a night out drinking with them. The maid service was excellent. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you Brian and lynn for making it an amazing holiday. …
Lake view 3 BdR Baan Bua villas
Outstanding Villa in perfect setting
This is a beautiful villa on the exclusive Baan Bua estate. It looks out over an idyllic lake where you can feed the fish. The villa is arranged in two separate buildings so each of the three bedrooms is very private. All the rooms open out into the pool area, which is a wonderful place to relax and soak up the sun. The view over the lake from the infinity pool was stunning. The villa was really well equipped and if anything the website description understates how lovely this place is. Nai Harn beach is a two minute motorbike or car ride. Rawai beach is five minutes, for wonderful longtail boat trips to nearby islands. Many many cafes and restaurants within a few minutes. All in all a great holiday. Alena was very helpful, sorting out a couple of minor issues extremely quickly and efficiently. We'd love to come back to this villa. …
