We stayed at The House in Raspay for two weeks in July as a family of five - with two others joining the middle part of our stay for a week. The house is in a rural location 'away from it all', which meant that we needed a car to venture out and about, explore and get groceries.
The house was very clean and very well equipped. The pictures do not really do the property justice, as there are wonderful views from all around the property, which sits inside a private gate on its own hill detached from the rest of the village -
accessible via a private drive. The garage contains a climbing wall and crash mats which we were completely surprised about as we didn't see this listed as an amenity beforehand.
Our only real complaint, if you can call it that, was that there wasn't really enough sunbeds for all members of our travelling party. There is sufficient garden furniture for everyone to sit in the sun, but only two beds, with a third fold-away one found in the garage which we did needed to make use off.
Do book during Fiesta season as the nearby towns come to life when the carnivals are on. We stayed during the Pinoso festival so made our evenings much more enjoyable as the town is quite quiet either side of this.
If you are looking for a real quiet, away from it all place then this property ticks all the boxes. …
